Did you know spiders have really short life cycles? Fortunately, I didn't inherit that trait, but it definitely put things into a slightly different perspective when I found out. [ found out, had a conversation with a spider. same thing. ] It's weird though, right? How different creatures have different existences, different experiences, different expectations... [ aka he doesn't want to live forever, but growing old would be pretty sweet, given his line of work. ] The eternal life thing isn't really my bag, but good for you guys though.

—But, uh, let's move on from the 'death is inevitable' conversation. Even if I kind of started it.
