002: Voice

It hasn't been an easy few weeks-or months. Maybe even more, for some. 

[Caren's voice is quiet, tired to those who know her. But she still goes on.]

And while I'm sure there are those who are dealing with the stress on their own, some of us are not. So, I came up with an idea. 

I suppose you can call it an all day, all night sleep over. I'm currently the only resident in...[She rattles off her address. Some people may remember this being the mansion that had all the excess food from before.]

But more importantly, after conducting some trades, I've managed to get a hold of some catmint as well as some other relaxing teas that work on Witches and Monsters. 

So bring some pillows and blankets. I'll be brewing all day. But if that's not enough...

If you either bring the supplies or cene, I will make pizza. Not tomato based, but other kinds. I will write the supply list at the end of this message, in case you don't know the options or what goes into the dough. 

Otherwise, there will be some light snacks of scones and such.

[The first thing she sends is a picture pf one of her pizzas that have come out of the oven. And it looks glorious.]

Basically a flat circle of dough is cooked with sauce and a variety of toppings. Best when hot, but can be eaten cold.

[ There are all kinds of open faces sandwiches and flatbreads covered with toppings that he’s seen before, but nothing exactly like pizza where he comes from. ]

Don’t think we have anything that matches that where I come from. Looks good, though.

If you ask around, there's some people who will sing its praises.

So? Are you coming to try?

I’m not one to turn down food, usually.

[ Since he had grown up hungry a lot of the time, it seemed like a sin to waste good food. ]

Where do you live and can I bring you something in return?

And most people don't turn down pizza.

[He'll know when he tries it. But...hm.]

I live at...[She rattles off an address deep in Haven, where the mansions are.]

If that doesn't help, it's the mansion with the herbs-not the sunflowers. That's Maria's house.

As for what you can bring...if you could bring some light snacks, I'd be thankful. If I don't eat it, other people will.

[ Han say it matter of factly, but his mind is pretty blown. He’s a little shocked that anyone mirrorbound is living in a mansion. ]

I suppose ales and meeds probably wouldn’t mix well with relaxing teas, huh? I’ll figure something else out.

[She had moved in there on an invite. It wouldn't be her first choice but-she's in it now so.]

I'd advise not to mix those two together-it could be dangerous, healthwise. But foodstuffs of other kinds would be welcome.

Okay, I’ll drop by.

[ Han goes to the market and spends a lot of time talking to people about what goes with pizza.

In the end, he seemed to find that many of the people who knew what it was agreed that chicken was the best thing to bring to have with pizza. Specifically the scrappy little ‘wing’ pieces, but he wasn’t gonna knock them till he tried them. They did smell good.

Then he goes off to find her mansion. It isn’t hard when the devices have built in locators. ]

[And he would find her and others here, ready to relax and enjoy pizza together.]
