[Aziraphale is a big proponent of free will. That was the entire point of... well. Humanity. They weren't inherently good, like angels were supposed to be, or bad, like demons. They had unlimited potential for both. But you have to let them choose, for that, make their own choices. So if they want to find out what the deal with the SQUIP is about they should be able to make that choice.
