[Aziraphale is not one to dismiss education. He enjoys reading and having interesting conversations with intelligent, interesting people. But he's also been around for long enough to have seen very, very different kinds of educations come and go and to know that intelligence comes in many different forms.

I hardly ever say things I don't mean, Rich. You seem resourceful and imaginative, for starters. And strong, to have been through all this and still try to help people who may go through the same.
