If I had to guess, it's to help smooth things over. I don't think what we did was wrong, but from Dorchact's perspective it's another matter.
Miss Bell has to think of what's in Aefenglom's best interest. Unfortunately, what's best for Aefenglom might not be what's best for everyone else.
