Hi everyone. Hope you're all doing okay!
Anyway, I have a request to any musicians reading this. It seems Dorchacht is rather starved for music variety. They got radios, but they really have are lullabies to keep calm people. Which calming people is important, but I think music can do more to help the situation.
So I thought it'd be a great opportunity to have a cultural exchange! In other words, I'd like to expose them to as much different music as possible to make them realize music can do so much more, like provoke all sorts of feelings and thoughts. Music can really inspire, you know?
In other words, if anyone has any songs they'd like to share, that'd be really helpful! I plan to play some of my own music, but it'd help to hear from many different voices. If you're in Dorchacht and you're the live performing type, I can try to help you with instruments and places to play. Otherwise, some friendly locals here are gonna give me radio time, so I can play any recordings you have there.
So come on, lets wake up these folks from the lullabies!
[Elliot is planning to throw a music revolution in other words, using music to make the people inspire and question what's going on in Dorchacht. Feel free to run with this in your own prompts in the log!]

voice.
[ he was thinking about taking it easy for his few weeks in dorchacht, but he simply can't ignore a sound off like that. ]
I'll be there for a live show or two.
What's a cultural exchange without the man who writes the most inspirational music known to voice and sound? [ he's not just being vain: music enchantment is his prime speciality. but also, he is being vain. ]
voice.
[But aw yes. He's heard Mozart playing enough at concerts like last summer (and other people PLAYING mozart's work) to know this guy has some serious talent. ]
That would be a huge honor! I bet the people would love to hear your work! Is there anything you'd need to prepare?
not really here

If not, I understand. [ given, you know, the dire circumstances. ] I'll make due.

Is there another instrument you like using if we can't find one?
no subject
[ kidding, he's kidding. ]
Nope. That's my only request. I brought my violin with me, and winds are simple enough illusions to manifest, as it happens.

Some days are easier than others!

Aha, no can't say I do know since that is...very vague.

[And yet, she doesn't bother elaborating.]

[Anyway...if she's not going to share, he's not going to pry.]
Monika, you play piano right? Do you think you could send any recordings of your pieces?

How come?

It takes a lot more than some songs to start a civil war. I haven't encouraged anyone to go to war.
I want people to have the freedom to think and live for themselves, witches and monsters.
no subject
Ahahaha! Oh, I don't know if I should take that as a compliment. I used to be so ahead of the times, you know? [ like, 228 years ago. ]
But thank you, Elliot. We really should collaborate more often.

I'd really like that! Sorry I won't be able to make your production this month.

But we cannot have everything at our disposal, can we? That is simply how society is structured, for our safety.
no subject
What? That's completely wrong! How could you say stuff like that!?
You're terrible!

If we are still committed to exchanges . . . Perhaps Aefenglom is due for one as well? It’s only fair.

Merely different faces of the same cause, I'm inclined to say! You're doing wonderful work. But I'll admit, the orchestra will be lesser without you, my friend.
Ah, but speaking of technology. I have a recording I can donate as well.

Thanks Amadeus, maybe next time! In the meantime, if I get lucky to get back in time, maybe I'll come watch the show.
Really? Great! What's the recording?
no subject
The last time I played piano... It was very tough and difficult for me. And I can't stop associating it with those memories.
I'm just not ready.
no subject
...Alright. I won't push you.
But if you do find it in you to help making a recording, I think it'd really help. There's a lot of people suffering in this city. Music won't solve all their problems, but it might help them take that first step towards doing that.
Just...please keep that in mind.
no subject
[But not likely.]

We can only hope talks will be so smooth, hm? [ not that he wants things to explode, but politics is a fickle, fickle thing. ]
None other than my piano concerto in D minor! It was met with enormous applause and praise when I first debuted it, I'm sure it'll be of some use in your operation.
How shall I send it to you?
no subject
Oh wow, I love a good piano concerto! And I think that'd be perfect to win over listeners.
And let's see...if you have a physical record with you I could take that. Or we could record it at the station or over the communicators.
