Wasn't he just gone for a bit? Well, maybe he was on vacation and has suddenly returned. He glares into the camera, looking comically annoyed. Like, how is it possible to get your eyebrows to go 90 degrees?

Also, he's still decently transformed, fangs, dog ears, claws, the works. Like he never left.

He speaks to the watch but it's not quite clear if he's actually addressing the network or just sort of... generally yelling.]

What the hell? How did I end up back here? I was doing something important! Which one of you extras did this?
