As so many people ask questions, advertise, or whatever on this thing I figure I have nothing to lose doing the same.

You see I have a particular problem. A pest problem. I'm looking for creative ways to rid myself of this little bug that seems super intent on sticking around. Normally I wouldn't bother with something like this but my usual methods of getting rid of unwanted things?

That's fairly close.
He wants to be together after rejecting me so many times. Act like nothing ever happened on top of it.
Clearly an earnest apology means that I should just forget everything and quietly comply to his wishes, right?

Are you bitter because you got rejected before and that's why you don't want to be with them?

At first, perhaps. Then it just grew into indifference.
Now all of this is just too much stupid for me to want to deal with.

If it were indifference, you wouldn't be so bothered by his... Aggressiveness when it comes to a relationship.

Less "bothered" and more "annoyed."

Try actually befriending him, maybe he'll stop bothering you.

Why would I want to befriend him? I don't WANT friendship.

Because it's easier than the opposite, don't you think?

And the opposite is what? Being his enemy?
I'm not even invested in THAT anymore.
