[ Lex has been quiet for some time - busy for parts, sick for others. But the items spilling out of the mirrors this morning has stirred her out of bed, and the item she has received- well.

Well, it's worth saying something. ]

Did anyone- [ a pause, a cough; her voice is raspy from disuse ] -did anyone else get something... potentially hazardous?

[ Potentially. Ha. As Lex stares at the item in front of her, potentially seems incorrect. ]

I need to get rid of this, [ she mutters, and then the connection cuts. ]

... So I assume this weapon has something to do with that, then. [Not a hard leap of logic to make, of course.] What do you think needs done about it? I assume you wouldn't have said anything if merely locking it in a room and hiding the key was going to suffice.

I need to deactivate it. And then take it apart, probably. But the radioactive part... that needs to be disposed of, and I'm not sure how.

Hmm... do you know how they did it in your home? I assume they had some kind of containment for it, correct?

Lead lining. But it's not a permanent solution; disposal involved a lot of... leaking.

Lead... the metal? Hm. I suppose it would be a little difficult to find much of that, here. [A wrinkle of her nose.] ... I cannot say I am much use for ideas, considering my unfamiliarity with the material in question. I hope someone else here can offer a better idea. It does not sound like something we should have close at hand.

Better in our hands than in others, but... yeah. I'd prefer it not be here at all.

If it is as dangerous as you say, I think most of us would share that sentiment. If magic can do something about it, then that would be ideal, but if not... well, I hope someone can figure it out.

I don't like the idea of relying on magic to fix all my problems, but... guess there's not a lot of choice in this case.

It's convenient enough, here, and if it works, perhaps it is worth the shot. I'm sure you'll find a capable Witch you can trust for the job.

[This list does not, by default, include Maria. She is more concerned with honing combat skills rather than anything that may help with something like that. Sorry Lex.]

The Witch I'm Bonded with has some ideas, at least.

[ And she can psychically find him if he betrays her, yay! Not that Lex thinks it'll come to that, but it's nice to know. ]
