Good morning Aefenglom!

This is your new host Undertown, coming at you live with an advice show, An Undertaking with Undertown! Who knows, the name may change, but we will see!

Anyway, let's go to the important part: what this is all about. Depending on the day and the popularity, we will be taking in questions via letters and Watches, and anonymous is always allowed.

Just try not to send too many hate mails, because I might cry!

Oh- before we get onto the subject for the day, I've been reminded that I will be taking co hosts on a monthly basis, maybe more, so we can talk about all sorts of things.

And what we're talking about today is...recovery. Which is a rather serious subject matter. I'm not going to say that I understand completely what everyone is going through. Because I don't. Everyone has their own process.

I will say that it is all right to feel angry - and it's all right to feel sad - and it's all right to cry. People were hurt, homes have been damaged, and businesses too.

Now, if anyone wants to send in a letter by post, by the Watches via text or by voice, I'll be taking in calls for the next hour.

Back home, the resident DJ for Radio Free Fae is all rapid-fire whispers, and damn, is it ever a pain in the ass trying to figure out what the hell they're trying to say. [ Seriously. You'd think that a radio station broadcasting information imperative to all Changelings would at least make sure its message were easily heard. But then, Winter is always as covert as possible, even when disseminating the facts. Guess not everyone can be an orator like Asura, huh? And now that he's got his rythmic cadence back, nothing's going to stop him from flirting his days away: ] Compared to that, Undertown? You're a breath of fresh air in this place. One that's sorely needed because...

Everything's gone stagnant here, while we're waiting for the verdict to drop. [ And hopefully more than that. Maybe something that would make a satisfying plop!. Like a head. Or two. ] So I've got a question for you, o'fleeting flower of one hour: what's your process? How do you recover?

Is that so? I didn't know about the Radio Free Fae radio. That sounds like it could get really annoying real fast, especially when you're trying to keep up with everything.

Though you are flattering me, with all this praise and pet names! But...hm, that's a big question you're giving me.

[And one, she knows, will be used against her. Hm.]

It depends on the level of it, and how big it is. Sometimes, it's just a simple matter of taking an hour to give myself some self love and self care. Can be through exercise, or a bath, or something that I delight in.

For the bigger stuff though...depends on what happened. I may need to feel the need to regain control.

Which may mean not only self care, but also seeing people that I care about, checking on them, and...remembering that I can't control everything. So I have to remember that the only thing I can control is myself.

And let all the pain, all the anger, all the hate go.

It's not easy. Sometimes it can take weeks or months. But I reclaim myself bit by bit.

Look at that. This sounds like a really useful thing right now. Especially with how many people are working to recover from everything that happened. My question is: how are you doing, though?

Pretty sure that's the most I've ever heard you talk about yourself in one go. [ A beat. ] It's nice, you know. Demystifying. Makes you more tangible to the listeners who only know you by your voice.

Maybe now they'll become undertakers themselves and dial in, knowing that you've got a wealth of experience on the subject. [ And how couldn't she, with all her years? Her answer had been calculated, yes, a given when on a public network channel, but... There were parts of her in it. Real ones, which let Asura know that, at the end of the day, Sokie Undertown would be okay so long as she had time on her side. ] But if they don't, I've got a follow up. Unrelated to the topic of the day, but still worth asking: you mentioned co-hosts, but what about opening up advertisements at the end of the show?

Promoting Mirrorbound initiatives and business on the radio will make them familiar, and not only to just our numbers.

Isn't succeeding in "recovery" a finding an answer to the question "what now?"

Ah! Excellent question!

I came up with this a few months ago, along with the practical magic lessons. I thought this would be fun, and a good way to talk with everyone-even if not everyone is listening.

Could be better, could be worse Louis. I'll be honest, I've been running around and not running around a bit and I don't know about you but...

I want a vacation. The ones where you can drink booze out of fruit sort of vacation.

I'd say romantic advice? Since we both know a thing or two about that area.

It can be that. But it can also be finding that feeling what is going on during the moment is fine too. It's easy to get burnt out if you're always reaching for tomorrow and not taking the rewards of today.

If I did that, my voice would give out! Besides, I'm not that good of a singer.
