PLATONIC FRIENDS NEEDED!

recently my truest friend has been summoned from the mirrors but for now he lacks platonic friends to spend time with. he has been living a solitary life as a king and i do not want him to be alone anymore.

his name is gilgamesh. he is very fond of his treasures and also knows the greatest stories about them. he enjoys wine as well. he is great to spar with and likes to go on adventures. his favorite color is gold. once he introduced me to beer and bread and allowed me to eat and drink everything i wanted.

would people like to become his platonic friend? or another sort of friend? as i know that many sorts of friendships are possible.

let me know if you have questions or want to meet him. he can be a bit fussy at first but please do not let it get to you. he has been alone. for a long time.

I am not offended. I would like it to introduce my platonic friends to my true one. But I also understand that Gilgamesh is quite fussy. [Very fussy, to say the least.]

And apparently others have had bad experiences with him. [A sigh.] I wish he would come to embrace humans more. That he would see them as his equal instead of mere mongrels.

[But it cannot be helped...]

Well it's not as if I count as human, these days. Even before I came here, I was considered pseudo-divine.

All that and I still find him distasteful.

We all were different before we came here.

I will respect your opinion, Scathach. I am well aware of the way he can behave, yet I will not judge him for that. I am in no position to judge a king.

One would think you're the only person in a position to judge him, as his dearest friend.

I may not like the man, but I doubt he'd disregard your opinions like he does all others.

Because I became his friend I have seen his growth. He slowly managed to step away from the loneliness that bound him. For me that has been enough.

Hmm, it is true that he would hear me out and it is true that he is far more lenient when it come to my words. But that is all, truly.

[They hum softly.]

Because we both have been each other's only and best friend we both do not know there is more than that.

Well all that aside, regardless of my opinion of that man, so long you're happy, I'll tolerate his presence.

But I am definitely not going to be his friend.

I have used the wood carving tools you gave me. Should we spar soon? I wish to see if my strength has come back. [A pause.] If only a little.
