[It is coming up to Sora’s third month in this world so his monster changes are well underway. Unfortunately, the one that Sora woke up to this morning had him yelling at himself so loud when he saw a mirror that he fell backwards and nearly clonked his own head on the bathtub.

He might need a little help with this one...]

Umm. Hi! I’m Sora. I’m a puca in case you were wondering what’s up with the big giant ears.

[The stream shows a brunette boy with long matching brown-coloured rabbit ears. He’s smiling but there’s some obvious worry in the tilt of his head. Furthermore, Sora’s eyes seem to be a sharp and glowing gold. Weren’t they a nice ocean blue before?]

I was wondering if anyone had any sort of spell or charm or potion that can change my eye colour? Hmm, I don’t mean anything that will wear off overnight or something?

[Sora’s not really comfortable with the idea of having naturally yellow or gold eyes. There’s a little bit of trauma backstory attached to that. Yikes.]

I think I need something a little more permanent. Is there anything that can change my eyes back to blue? Anything at all? Please?

[Is there even anything that can change or mask something like this? Is there any way for Sora to reverse just this one monster trait? He’s fine with rabbit ears! And a vegetarian diet (goodbye bacon…)! And even getting itchy fur and a cottontail! But gold eyes? Say it ain’t so!

What if he just wears a blindfold for the rest of his life...]

Whoa! Yeah!? You can almost reach the roof in one jump!? That's amazing! I can't wait until I can do something like that! See, being a puca is great too!

[there are moments when he thinks it's fine, when he even thinks it was the best option for reasons. and other times, he struggles.]

You wouldn't have chosen to be anything else? Or even a witch?

[He gets that too. Being a puca is mostly fine. Aside from the bright gold eyes that he hates looking at himself with.]

Erm...! To be honest I was kind of hoping I'd turn out to be a dragon a first. But that didn't exactly go to plan.

[He's so far opposite of a dragon it's kind of laughable.]

A dragon would be nice.

[his eyebrows jump at the thought. yes, a dragon would be perfectly badass.]

I'm not sure how I'd handle it if I were turnskin though. So many of them are canines.

[he barely holds back a shiver at the thought of it.]

Oh, that reminds me! What's your name?

Geeze, me too... Two of my friends are dog turnskins. Sometimes it's hard to be at home when they're there.

[He gets really antsy and jumpy around them. And he's been barked at before.]

Oh--! Sorry! My name's Sora! What's yours?

If you ever need somewhere to hide for a little while, come over to my place! One stern look from Lan Zhan and a bad dog will run away!

[barks into whimpers]

I'm Wei Wuxian. I think you're the first other puca that I've ever spoken to. We should be friends.

You got yourself that good of a bodyguard?! Count me in!

[Sora chuckles happily. He usually ends up hiding out at his bondmates home but he wouldn't mind a back up.]

It's nice to meet you, Wei! Can I just call you Wei? Since we're both puca's we definitely should stick together!

[Friends! Pucas quite like their own kind for company, after all!]

He's the best! And guess what?

[he leans in, bringing his hand up like he's sharing a secret.]

He really loves rabbits.

Sure! I'd like that!

[Sora snickers knowingly and gives a quick wink.]

I bet he's really happy that you're turning into one, then. Lucky.

[Just watch those ears!]

You'd think so.

[wei wuxian would even think so, thinking back on all the white rabbits at cloud recesses and the way his bonded's face would secretly light up at the sight of one.]

I think he'd be okay with whatever I was turning into though. As long as I was still me.

[so yeah, he's definitely lucky.]

[Sora senses something special here. Sora can relate to the way he feels about his bandmates too.]

He must really care about you, huh? [Sora nods.]

We were friends before we came here. He liked me from the start!

What about you? Any friends from home?

Haha, that's so great to hear! I'm glad you two have each other!

[How cute.]

And yeah, I've got my two best friends here. And someone I always wanted to have a chance to be friends with. I'm pretty lucky, I think.

[he raises his brows curiously.]

But why didn't you have a chance before?

Ermm... Well! Before we came to this world he sort of faded away.

[And he was sort of a bad guy. But-]

I didn't have time to save him back then. But he's here now.

[that sounds. somewhat familiar.]

Then I'm really glad you both got a second chance.

[Sora smiles softly. It means a lot to Sora. Being able to save him had been something so important to him. And now he can help here in this world.]
