It was strange at first, because the concept of monsters here is very different from the one I'm used to back home. However, I don't think the term itself is what's really important.

I think we should have another word for it. An option for people who aren't comfortable to fall back on.

Not to necessarily replace it altogether, since some people are clearly fine with it.

Mm, you're right. Even if it doesn't change how it makes me feel about people, there are a lot of individuals who struggle with the term and the changes that go with it. I wish there was more I could do for people than just try to support them.

But often it's something they have to face themselves. The last time I tried... I think I just gave him more to worry about.
