The Network: May, An Inauspicious Arrival

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here.

[A peaceful world does sound like a nice ideal... or at least somewhere this particular hunter can rest. She's been at the game for far too long, and it haunted her even beyond her grave. And beyond her second death, too. Yeah, it's complicated.]

I see. Well, I took to one of the largest houses, on some of the largest grounds - you will find that I've spent most of the year I've been here, and much of the area of those grounds, cultivating quite some amount of flowers. Do you have a favorite?

[ And Yonah replies, rather excitably. Almost as though she'd forgotten her coughing from earlier. ]

[ As a JRPG heroine, she's always up to the task. A soft sigh escapes her, and she responds with a cheerful tone. ]

You surely could. There are a plethora of unique ingredients in this world. What is it you'd like? I shall bring what I can with me when I fetch you.

[ She's careful, as ever, to not mention Yonah's name. It wouldn't be impossible that she'd know it, as a friend of her father's, but... it's not her father that Zelda knows Yonah through, and as such, she perhaps overthinks the moment.

[ Well then, Molly is in for a treat! Caduceus has just the person for them to drink! And maybe some interesting fruit rind to add a little zest.

Honestly, Caduceus' experience with alcohol wasn't exactly a pleasant one, but he would have gladly suffered the terrible tasting stuff if it was with his new friend.

As for the object Molly held up... It might not work as well as he'd expect, on account of him having never actually been up close to the item. Still, he scans everything that he's able to see on Molly's person. He's not exactly thinking about it, but technically he's been close enough to the other's corpse to be able to locate him. ]

Yeah, Y'know I think that such work just fine.

[ After a few moments the pink firbolg smiles and starts to move around. ]

Looks like you're over this way. Well then Mister Molly, I should be with you in a short while. Isn't that just neat?

[ Huffing a soft laugh, Lydia rolls her eyes. ]

[ Her brow creases at that. ]

...so then we'll just untether you. We've got a little bit of time. Stiles, I've literally brought you back from being mildly dead. We can do this.

[ If she sounds confident, it's because she is. Stiles has risked his life for her; she's willing to do the same for him. They might not be as close now as they were before, but she's always going to have a special place in her heart for Stiles. ]

Oh...uh, no, I was at school. Why, weren't you?

[ She still hopes to find one for real, someday! Wish her stupid sickness away and her father wouldn't need to work so hard. ]

For real?? I thought he was kind of an ass, no offence or anything. Maybe he warms up when you get to know him. Bet the reason they keep dragging you guys in is bc they figure you'll be the ones to solve the mysteries. Like a teen squad of graduate-intellect detectives.

(it does take him some time to get to her, if only because he's been hopelessly lost for the better part of the day. being bucked off of his own planet only to land squarely in this one has been mystifying, but there's one way to acclimate quickly: explore. and meeting margaery is very conducive to that.

If he couldn’t unravel the mystery of how to return home, he’d no doubt that she certainly could. She’s the brightest Beacon Hills has to offer, after all.
