[ a dark-haired young woman in glasses and dark local fashion sits in front of the camera. she can't be older than 21, surely. anyway, byleth's been here for over a month and she's only posting to the network now. ]

I'm Byleth Eisner. I've met some of you already. I suppose you would call this an... interest check? [ she takes off her glasses, hanging them from the neckline of her shirt. ] Most of my recent work before coming here was in commanding my Emperor's army, but I'm an experienced teacher as well. Armed and unarmed combat, archery, strategy and tactics, riding, magic... rhetoric and composition. [ was that last one a joke? it's impossible to tell. her face gives no hints one way or another. ]

The Coven trains witches in magic, but that only does so much good. I'd like to work towards establishing a school where the Mirrorbound without martial skills can learn them. As it is, the Wilde is too dangerous for too many of us, and ad-hoc lessons aren't enough. [ she waves a hand. ] This is all... hypothetical, right now. But if this sounds something you'd like to either help with or learn from, please, let me know. In the meantime, I'm open to teaching one-on-one.

[ she seems to consider something, briefly, before: ]

... Also, firearms are new to me. I'm familiar with powder explosives, and I've seen cannons, but if anyone might help me to understand the use and maintenance of guns, I would appreciate it.

[ byleth pauses again. ]

This sounds like a worthy endeavor; I am presently giving one-on-one instruction to a pupil, but if you're interested in expanding such lessons to more of the Mirrorbound, I can offer my own services.

[ There's a sense of cool interest through their bond and maybe a touch of curiosity. ]

My own expertise is with the sword and lance and horseback riding; I can offer instruction in those subjects. Firearms I am aware of, but I have little experience in using them.

When I first met the version of you in my memory, they were just starting their professorship after a colorful career as a mercenary. Then, the iteration that is you became a storied and strong wartime general. Now? I never dreamed that you would yourself become a headmaster.

By maintenance, do you mean upkeep or repair? Or both, I suppose.

My expertise is with firearms and combat, I am willing to offer my help with the use and maintenance. The guns of this world may be... primitive than the one I am used to, but the fundamental use of one shouldn't differ.

General Eisner is a really good teacher! -- Or Professor Eisner, in this case? She and Corrin have been teaching about how to use a sword [so far, a wooden one], and she's been tutoring me in a bunch of other subjects, too. She's been really helpful and kind to me. I've only been taught by her for the past month and a half, but she also taught Lady Edelgard and Sir Lorenz and a lot of other really strong people, so her longterm results are also wonderful! I guarantee it!

What kind of space would be needed for a school like that? If there's going to be a lot of students, I don't know if you could hold it in the yard.

I was a commander in my home as well - I held the second-highest rank a foreigner could in the Imperial Army. If you require somebody who's got that discipline to help keep order in such a school, I'd be open to it.

[ The griffin has a slight awkward look, though. She looks young as well - but she's waiting to be rejected for being a beast. ]

...while I did not use firearms like this realm, my weapon before arriving here was a type of gun which used explosives to augment the swings of a blade.

I'm not suited for helping groups or tactics but I have experience with the rest. [a beat]

Ah... I have no experience with firearms myself, but... I could teach archery.

I also have experience with the axe, fencing, astronomy, and astrology. Though... I doubt astrology on this star has any practical use, unlike on mine. Um... I... also have culinary experience... both for in the kitchen and when camping?

I can't say I know much, but I'm sturdy and a little bit of a former scrapper, so to speak...? [Sheepish.] Ah, and I was a wrestling enthusiast when I was a kid, and I keep in pretty good shape, do sports, that kind of thing. That may not sound like much, but what I mean is I'm sturdy, if you need anyone for, mm, I guess unarmed sparring? I think with a little more formal education on weapon techniques, I'd be more than okay with them, too, since I have experience with stage fighting.

I'm long retired from that sort of work, but I suppose I could consult with the curriculum, if you'd like an experienced hand's help on the matter.

I'm guessing "jack of all trades, master of none" doesn't really apply to you.

I would like to be offering my help. I have never taught anyone but I would be liking it greatly if I could be helping with sparring. An aide to a teacher maybe? For demonstrating.

It would be keeping the rustiness away also.

[She tilts her head slightly.]

Where would you be having classes?

A worthy endeavor to be sure. I used to run a school back home for combat training. If you need additional hands in the effort, I'd be more than happy to oblige.

[ Is not going to mention it was to train teenagers to fight monsters, nope. ]

I have training and knowledge in most weaponry, including firearms, though I much prefer swords. [ Or a cane?! ] But I also have experience in using magic as well.

There's a whole lot of guns out there. Less here, but my world went from powder weapons to energy and plasma to handheld bomb launchers.

[ Her head tilts to consider the camera, the chimera's fox ears twitching in interest. ]

But I can help. My whole world is a fight for survival, so I know all too well how not knowing gets people killed.

If you need more volunteers in teaching, I know some skills. Outdoor survival, tracking, hunting ridiculously sized creatures and hand to hand combat to name a few. That being said, I wouldn't mind seeing what the others are wiling to teach since it'll be interesting to see what everyone has to bring to the table.

[ Teaching? He's never thought about it, really. He's helped train other knights, but that was more along the lines of sparring and critique. ]

I've helped in sparring and training drills for hand-to-hand and with swords.

[ He can't say he's much help with guns, that's the domain of someone like Pretzel or Champagne. ]
