[ The rebuilding of the theatre industry in Aefenglom doesn't just help out the actors of this city. It also means that Trucy is ready to go full throttle with her own plans.
Which is why the Watches are broadcasting Trucy, stood in front of a sparkly piece of fabric, patches of fur visible on her shoulders and arms where her cape, dress or gloves don't cover, but smiling nonetheless.
Beaming, actually. ]
Friends, monsters, witches!
[ She sure is all about the stage presence, spreading her arms with a flourish that sends her cape rippling out behind her, even when the stage is nothing more than her living room, obscured by some well-placed fabric. But that motion does more than simply show off her cape, it allows a large wooden puppet to spring forth at her side, stealing her hat as he unfurls. ]
I invite you to a night of magical wonder, of mystifying illusions and enchantment with the marvellous Miss Trucy Wright!
[ There's absolutely no indication as to how this thing is speaking, or how it sounds almost nothing like the young girl who began this broadcast, but its mouth clicks and clacks as it opens and shuts. ]
Why, Mr. Hat, wherever do I go to see such wonders?
[ She's putting it on thick here, isn't she? But the whole thing bubbles with joy. ]
Oh ho ho! On the biggest stage Aefenglom has to offer, of course! We will be on the streets of the Haven this weekend.
What about the time? I'm a busy girl! I can't hang out all day!
It starts at eight sharp!
Great! I can't wait to see it.
[ And that, dear Mirrorbound, has been your notice of a night of illusions and delight. ]

[ ... Well. A standing spot. ]
How does front row sound?

[ Granted Chise had volunteered last time but then again she had not really experienced stage fright before so. Whoops. ]
no subject
[ Dang. She won't push, but Chise was a good volunteer. ]

[ She appreciates it. But at the very least she's still gonna support Trucy from the audience. ]
The last time was a learning experience though.

[ There's nothing to be gained from dragging a nervous volunteer up, after all. ]
So, what have you been up to since I last saw you?

[ Trucy won't say it, but she's scared. Scared of the idea that a relative stranger would know the feelings she only allows out around her daddy. That she can't just put on a smile and say everything is fine around that person. ]
How do they expect a girl to start her business here while moving in and finding a bond partner?! It's too much!
[ It's not, but it's a good excuse. ]

[ While she certainly helped Elias with concocting potions and charming items, he was the one who handled the 'business', as weird as it is to use that word when describing deals with others like them. ]
A bond here does sound similar to a contract I have with my familiar at home, but I guess I'm still a little afraid to go through with one. But I also know that they're important here. My logic keeps going in circles about it.

[ She's read about them at home, and they definitely mentioned them in the welcome chat, didn't they?
Hm... Chise seems nice. And as intimidating as the emotional component is, maybe it would be sensible... ]
I heard there are temporary bond potions. Maybe we should try those?
no subject
[ A temporary bond did sound plausible. There was a pause before she replied again as Chise thought about this: if it was just long enough to help the pair of them out, she was certain she could keep her emotional baggage in check. The last thing she wanted to do was scare Trucy. ]
We could give it a try.

I always thought they were animals!
[ Like a witch's cat. And Aefenglom sure seemed to work that way too. ]
Deal. Let's meet up and go try one.

[ W h o o p s. ]
Okay!

[ Trucy, baby, he's not Bullet. You can't put him in a gun. ]
