Though--while I'd not trade them for the world--I'd hesitate to call it special, like I was simply fortunate in my choices and it's all been roses from there. Certainly there was the Maker's own grace in my finding them, but it was also work on all our parts, too--seeing each other's weak, dark, and uncertain places and deciding we could live with them and help each other out of them.
It's something any of us can do, if we're minded to. That's why I said what I did about building it, and not hesitating until you think you've found the right one. Even that worthy may be hiding things that will challenge the both of you.
