[ Considering how long she's been here now and how... enthusiastic her Coven mentors have been about her finding a Bond, Yona's finally worked up the courage to try and use this strange device for herself and ask for some advice. ]
How did those of you who have made Bonds know that your partner was right for you? Was it just something casual and easy? Was it something deeper than that? Did you have a hard time finding someone when you first arrived?
[ Was that too intrusive? Insecure? She hopes not... ]
And those of you who haven't yet... what is it you're looking for?

I doubt lightning will strike twice, however. If my current Bonded leaves, or our Bond were to sever... I'll not be looking for a new one. It was sheer luck this one happened, I think. It will need twice as much for it to happen again. Especially knowing now what I do of how invasive and sometimes uncomfortable it can be, sharing an emotional space with another.

I hope that doesn't happen, then. She sounds important to you. It does sound odd, having so intimate a connection with someone, but I don't think it sounds all bad...

If you can make peace with the fact you'll never really feel alone in your own head again, even when you want to, I suppose not. Then again, once you get used to it, their absence becomes... alarming, when it happens.

I think having that presence there might even be... hmm, reassuring? comforting? in times of need. Sometimes being alone in your own head can be a frightening thing indeed.
[ She's no stranger to being cut off. Alone. Forced to face disaster and tragedy with only her wits and her own mere strength to see her through. She's not a fan. She much prefers the company of those she trusts, those who lend her their strength when her own is at risk of failing. ]

Are you not close enough to your bonded to share such secrets?
