[It's been a little while since Momo's had to network post about anything, but the video opens on him leaning against what appears to be the back door of a cottage, with a wide grin that reveals his sharp canines.]

Hey everyone, I've got a weird question, but before that, I want to answer a couple of other people's weird questions! Since we just got a bunch of newcomers, I was thinking of doing a PSA kind of thing on my radio show tonight - answering questions people might still have that haven't come up yet or they might feel awkward asking in person. So if any of you new guys have any questions, even if you want to ask them anonymously, ask them here and I can give you an answer before I roll it into the show tonight! And oldbies, if there are any useful things you took a little while to learn that you think might be good to know for a newcomer, let me know! It'll all be here too, but the show will let me put it all in one place so you all don't have to dig through a bunch of conversations for the useful stuff, and maybe find some more detailed answers for anything I'm not sure about.

It'll be at 10 tonight, so you know. I do mean any questions! [His wink at that is innocent enough, but he's definitely implying that since it's late night, the nature of the questions doesn't matter so much.]

And now for my question... [He turns his phone around to show his backyard, which is fairly large since he lives in a cottage, but currently entirely occupied by garden stuff.] Does anyone know what options I have for getting a water feature or something that a merrow can comfortably fit in? I've got a fair bit of space to work with like you see here, but I don't think they have like...portable pools in this time, and I actually haven't seen much of how they build proper ones here and how long it might take. So if anyone knows a little more about construction and timing for that kind of thing, I'd be really grateful! Or if there's any weird magical alternatives I don't know about that I should look into.

Anyway, that's it for the moment, so let me know, okay? [He turns the camera back towards himself to wave with one red-nailed hand before the video ends.]

[Connor responds with a video of his own backyard, where a huge pool takes up most of it.]

If you have a Witch, it's easier to build a pool. I admittedly didn't help much myself, but it took a couple of months of magical labour, not including the clean up afterwards.

Who is it for?

[Well, that's a useful comparison. He does remember Connor from their initial meeting a while back, and more importantly that he's another merrow to consult on this topic.]

I am a Witch, so that's a start. Do you think it'd be possible to cut the time a bit if more than one Witch was working on it? [He worries about Yuki running off somewhere weird like he did during those temporary arrivals, but also doesn't really want him to have to sit in the bath when he needs a lot of water at home, so a few months is a bit daunting.]

My partner showed up with these last arrivals, and he's turning into a merrow, so I want him to have somewhere close by he can use for water when he needs it.

I have a question.

[Yes he's probably texting him from like 2 rooms away.]

[Teasing. They're stupid questions, some of them, and serious questions, others. But, admittedly, mostly what he wants is to see Momo's face as the first one to grace his eyes in the morning (is it still morning?), and to make sure he knows he doesn't have to go to so much trouble for him. As usual, he'll lose that particular discussion, but he's going to try]

[It's more like early afternoon, but that's the Yuki Life.]

[Calling that tease to see how long Yuki can hold up for, though he will come in eventually if Yuki doesn't come out to get him first. "Eventually" is just the operative word there.]

[Brunch time...?

But wow, Momo trolled the trolling, clearly, and Yuki makes a sound of protest that probably can't be heard outside, although he looks around himself suspiciously anyway, like someone might've heard it.

He lasts approximately two minutes, sitting on the edge of the bed with his loose pants and shirt, combing fingers through his hair and wondering if he ought to braid it at night because there's nothing like anti-static pillowcases here... But those two minutes are really hard and he just.]

[And then he comes in, though he ends up basically calling from two rooms out anyway because he's pretty sure he knows where Yuki still is.]

You haven't even gotten out of bed yet, have you? [He Knows.]

[The self-satisfied half-smirk he has when the back door opens is replaced with an indignant frown at the (absolutely correct) accusation.

Fine. He'll get up. He gets to his feet, still half asleep, and wanders to the other room, toward Momo's voice.]

I'm out of bed. See? [Still in PJs. But he smiles, close-lipped and sincere, when he sees Momo. Last night's events filter back into his brain, and while he's pretty sure suddenly that he was under some kind of influence, he still meant all of it, so...] Morning.

It's afternoon. [It's said in a joking tone, considering he's used to Yuki's questionable body clock. While he's had more time to think about what happened last night, it does mean he's also reasonably sure it wasn't a fluke, but even so, he only comes close enough initially to brush some of that bedhead aside.]

Are you alright? I kinda thought the thing last night was an honesty spell, I walked into something like that last month, but apparently a lot of people kinda trashed the streets overnight so I think it might've been more of a "no self-control" problem.

[Which doesn't discount anything they said to each other, he just wants to be completely sure, because second-guessing his worth is still something of a habit he's in the process of trying to break.]

[...And that explains that. Yuki looks at Momo questioningly for a moment, then vaguely recalls how many times he's mentioned weird stuff happening here and dismisses the concern entirely. It is what it is. They'll tackle whatever comes their way.]

I'm trying not to be surprised. [Wait. Is the hair touching like... married couple act or is it affection... Shit, this is like a pop quiz or something he's not studied for. But heaven forbid Momo doubts his sincerity.] ...So do you think I was just being impulsive? Not... honest?

No, it's more... [How does he put this. His hand trails to a stop somewhere near the ends of Yuki's hair, though his fingertips are still just kind of sitting in it. When Yuki puts it like that, it makes it hard to actually go through with second-guessing, so he rephrases a bit.] I know I didn't say anything I didn't mean, so I don't want to second-guess you. I just wanted to make sure you were still comfortable with it, since I know you're usually more shy.

[He's more concerned about whether it might've moved too fast for Yuki than whether it was honest or not. Even with the spell, he'd needed a moment to put his words together, so he can only imagine what it would've been like otherwise.]

[Momo has a decent reason to worry, considering how well he knows Yuki. But while it took Yuki a moment to get his thoughts together, his conviction when he truly decides to do something is just as strong as Momo's. And he decided in that moment, after Momo confessed, that he would reciprocate with everything he had, as much as he possibly could.

Is that level slightly different for last-night Yuki and right-now Yuki? ...A little. But it was far from moving too fast. Somehow, it was a relief. It might be hard for him to say it, sure. It's much less hard for him to feel it.]

What's going to change? It's not like we aren't close publicly to begin with. Maybe... [Oh god. Oh no. Not this. But he knows it's true. There's creeping dread about his revelation just now, as Yuki realizes... he might have to discuss things. Things like desires and boundaries. Do they have to? Can't they just feel it out? Ahh...] ...Maybe we should talk about it. [RIP Yuki. He's looking at Momo with very mild concern, like what he's saying ought to be obvious, but what if it isn't? What if he's not being demonstrative and clear?] I'm comfortable with you. Things are different here, too. I mean, I came back here expecting you'd even want to Bond with me. ...Eventually.

Whatever you want to talk about. I'm all ears. [He is...not quite obvious enough about what exactly he's referring to talking out for Momo to pick up on it, but at least he's open to talking in general. Then again, he's rarely not when it comes to Yuki.

As for the matter of Bonding, though, Momo brightens up a bit.] Right! I've been meaning to ask you about that, I just thought you'd want some time to settle in...the first full moon is usually safe, and I think yesterday being an eclipse helped, but after that it gets risky for Monsters. Especially if you resist the change. It'll be easier on you if we Bond as soon as we can.

[It took Momo a while to get around to it, and he had his familiars in the interim to make sure he didn't go off, but like hell he's letting Yuki make the same bad life choices here that he did.]

[ With the light enchantments that lower one's inhibitions in place, Jean hears the open call for questions and speaks before his mind can stop him. ]

Why are some people here eating pink cotton? [ Cotton candy, he means. ]

[ He then stops, looking shocked at the words that seamlessly rolled off his tongue. It's probably a stupid question, and he was keeping it in because he dislikes making a fool out of himself in front of others!

Please don't make fun of him for being so clueless. He comes from a backwater walled country where they have practically nothing. ]

[Momo definitely grins at the question, but it's more of a "that's cute" sort of grin.]

What a cute question! [And then he just says it. Thanks Momo.] It's called cotton candy because of how it looks, but it's basically just coloured sugar. When you heat it up enough, you can "spin" it into really thin threads, so that's how you end up with the "pink cotton" look.

Maybe I should've explained this sooner, but between the time I was here when I came out of the puddle, and when I showed up through the mirror? Some time passed. I mean, some things happened.

[Things involving his past, his skeletons in the closet, and the people he loved the most. Which was honestly why it was so (comparatively) easy for him to tell Momo he loved him... It was still hard, but it would've been infinitely harder otherwise.]

So, because of those things, I was already... [Urgh.] More than fine. I was holding back because of business things before, not because I didn't care about you like that. So, because it's different here... If there's nothing getting in the way... [Hand over face, hand running through hair, brain not working...] And even if it is, we just use the Bond as an excuse, right? [Yuki's logic.] So the sooner we do it, the easier it is. [A beat.] I wasn't thinking about the Monster stuff at all.

[How is it so hard to say that he is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one hundred percent good and fine and happy with being Momo's? All he can do is smile apologetically about being on a slightly different page, there.]

[Momo was already from pretty far along himself, so he can understand what might've happened to make Yuki open up a bit to those feelings. He's had a tiny bit "happen" too since then, but that was quite brief compared to what Yuki probably knew about before he came back.

It's kind of cute watching Yuki fuss himself about having to talk about feelings in the moment, and it occurs to Momo that this is probably why he keeps hearing Okarin mention fire extinguishers when Yuki manages to say anything emotional to him.

As if to reassure Yuki that things are fine, he first clutches his cheek in his usual dramatic manner for when they're doing their act.] If you say it like that, I'll start to think my first Bond was cheating on you...

[Though he can't say Lio doesn't fluster easily enough to make a joke of it. His hand drops from Yuki's hair to take his hand instead, between both of Momo's.] I think it'll be fine. The entertainment industry here...or the audiences here, too, have a different feel to them. And they're really open about all kinds of relationships because of how important Bonding is. So I would've asked to Bond with you anyway, but I don't think we need it as an excuse. If you're sure you're happy with me, then I want to take the chance not to hold back while we're here.

[They'll go back eventually, may not even remember what happens here, and probably have to wait years before they might be able to do this again. But maybe some part of them will recall this and know that it's something that can wait for them whenever they reach the point they have to age out of the idol industry.]

[Momo, if you could just stop making him confront difficult things and maybe let him go back to bed, or have some delicious brunch, or play some music, he'd have a much better time of things. He actually makes a face at the mention of the other Bond, not a look of disgust, but a distinct look that says he hadn't thought of it that way, and now he's worried Momo is going to think of it that way, and it's too early in the morning to accidentally create emotional land mines with anyone because it never ends well for him when he does.

He waves a dismissive hand at that, just before Momo takes it in his own. That's still... Bridging the mental gap between performative skinship that maybe meant something they couldn't talk about and Actual affectionate gestures might take him another minute. He's saying it's fine, but he's looking down at their hands now with rapid blinking and a bolstering shift of his shoulders.]

Okay. Well. I'm happy with you.

[Wow that sounds so. Boring? Underwhelmed? He doesn't mean for it to. It's just the simple, blunt statement of the fact that Yuki's feelings are the real deal. And that Momo brings him joy he can't put words to. And comfort, too. And support. And... about a billion other things. He's cant think of anyone else worth crying over quite like he has Momo.]

You mentioned a few things before, but I know you were just letting me get grounded before you launched into everything. I want to know about the industry here, sooner rather than later. If you already have a foothold, I have a long way to go, but with a little work I'll catch up.

[A pause.]

...I have a lot of questions about Monsters and Bonding, too. I mean, specific ones. I don't know where to start. Maybe I should've asked at the meeting, because asking you for help is... You're already trying to build me a pool in the back yard, aren't you? Which, by the way, better come with a cute cabana peach, and maybe a swim-up bar and grill?

[Grin. A little joke.

Yuki's awake now.]

[Momo would pat Yuki on the head when he makes that face, because he's been one of the people trying to convince reluctant Bonders that Bonds do not in fact have to be That Serious all the time. But then his hands are occupied and he doesn't really feel like letting go of Yuki's hand for that, so he'll just have to survive with a reassuring hand squeeze.

Considering Yuki's general lack of ability to beat around the bush about anything, he isn't expecting anything more flowery than what he gets, and the sincere little smile that comes of it says he's perfectly happy with that.

It is probably a good time to get their information straight, and Momo is all ready to take that seriously before Yuki comes for him with the spoilt rich teenager requests and he puffs out his cheeks dramatically like this is totally Abusing His Position.]

You'll get a cute peach either way, but I don't even know how advanced the pools here are, let alone if I start trying to put extra things on it...Haku and Sen still need somewhere to burrow, too. [Offended. But he lets it slide a moment later.] I don't want you running off to the Wilde again, is all. It's dangerous out there, even when they had that area sectioned off for people to let off steam.

[Another squeeze of his hand, this time more of a protective gesture.] I'll answer what I can and what I've heard about the Monster and Bond stuff. Entertainment's an easier topic anyway, so we can get into that afterwards.

[It's important to their work, but he'd consider the former topics more generally important to have answers on quickly.]
