[Jin Guangyao is already feeling a bit sensitive due to various events, and has never been too fond of his transformation into a naga to begin with. So it's with a faintly plaintive, embarrassed smile that he turns on video, all-too obvious in his transformation with a few scattered tan scales on his cheeks and forehead and slit yellow eyes.]

Please pardon my interjection but, is such a turn of phrase really so necessary?
