I've been thinking about this decision we're left to make about Morgana Drummond. Sheesh, talk about a toughie, right? I mean, why NOT kill Drummond dead? Sounds easy-peasy to me! Dorchacht's Coven is even preparing the pyre and everything. Yay, fire!

[Henry busts out in a raucous laugh.]

You have to admire that initiative. Oh, by the by, you can't resurrect bones without the body stuffs, I guess. Reanimation ONLY. Trust me on that.

So anyway, they say they're gonna seal away her ashes. But I can't help but wonder if there's reeeeally any way to guarantee that she won't be resurrected after we burn her to bones at the stake. Imagine how awesome it'd be, facing off against an UNDEAD Drummond, revived by her necromancer lackeys! Nya ha ha! Guess we'd better hope that pile of ashes doesn't end up in the wrong hands, huh?

Who are you guys gonna side with? Dorchacht's death sentence, or Aefenglom's curious Coven?

['Good-hearted people'... despite his own Bonded's encouragement that that the people here were kind, this is where you really see what people are, and good-hearted is not really the phrase Jin Guangyao would use here. But that's just how it is, no matter where you are it seems.]

Oh, yeah. Totally. If she gets put to the stake, we'll call it a bonfire! Nya ha ha!

[A man of contradictions... He says this just like he's said everything else in this conversation: chipper and cheery, a touch playful and with a singsong lilt.]

But if she lives, that's okay too. I'm just gonna help capture her and whatever happens from there, happens. I'm sure there are a lot of people here with a lot of thoughts about her future, circling her body like vultures... May as well leave her fate to the birds!

[Birds. Ugh. The phrasing on that, with his quite recent serpent-like loathing, required Jin Guangyao to repress a small shudder. But he remains unfazed by Henry's attitude -- it reminds him a bit of Xue Yang, many years ago.]

Whichever way it ends up, I'm sure the help will be appreciated.

Oh, and you might want to take care with mentioning necromancy. I understand some people are, perhaps justifiably, a little concerned about that sort of thing. Of course I'm sure it's well behind you but... well, you are a witch, are you not?

[You're in for a real treat, Jin Guangyao... Henry loves his birds. He even has a crow familiar.

Henry makes a sort of affirmative sound, a "mhmm" noise in reply.]

Sure am. And don't worry. I'm not very good at lying, anyway! [Who could've been able to tell that?] I dabbled in a TEENSY bit of necromantic-themed magic back home... Just some sigils and Risen here or there, for kicks and giggles. But it's not like it was my calling or anything. Dark mage there, and Witch here. Yep.
