I just have one question to ask.

How many creatures here have feathers as part of their transformation?

Harpy is the most obvious one. Bird type.

Chimera can be any combination of animal, including bird. Many don't have feathers at all though.

Dragons can come with scales or feathers or both.

Is there a monster you'd rather be?

Whichever can cause the least amount of damage to the rest of the population. [ If I lose control is the unspoken part of that. ]

Although I'm not sure which that is. A dragon sounds like it would be difficult to control though.

Unless I'm breaking all of the laws of this place then I don't think I'm turning into one of them either.

they do! not very high or very far, but that might be because they've gotten fat lately. i wonder if suibian's pregnant again.

and my brother-in-law is actually a harpy. that could be it.

Harpy. [At least in his opinion. But then...his partner could still put up quite a fight despite his new disadvantages. It really depended on the person then.] Brittle bones, smaller, less physical strength. Can come with elemental manipulation though. Or a siren's voice.

Chimera and dragons are among the strongest monsters here. Possibly the only thing that can control a dragon is itself--or another dragon.

[Or maybe, just maybe, it's Bonded if they were someone really important. But that was another story for a certain someone.]

Don't know about many but I've heard a few stories where dragons have gotten out of control.
