The Network: May, Arrivals from Distant Lands

The Watches Everyone who arrives in an unorthodox way and eventually shows up at the Coven for 'orientation', will receive a strange, watch-like device compliments of the Coven and Parliament. Miss Nessie or one of the welcome wagon crew will give characters a run-down of how to use the various functions and they are encouraged to test them out for themselves. It would be good for them to get in touch with their fellow Mirrorbound, of course! Fourth wall characters will not be able to make their own posts in the communities, so they may use this post to make "network posts" of their own by top-leveling. The log post is right over here. Fourth Wall characters can comment on posts made by others in both aefenglom and middaeg until June 1st. Ha ha, just run of the mill. I was in the middle of a mission when I came here and it's left unfinished. Naturally, there's plenty of other reasons that they've given me but we'll have to see how that pans out.

Speaking of the welcome wagon, could stand for a little less enthusiasm. But that's just me.

Nah, I feel you on that. Like, I had shit I was doing back home too, but I honestly don't really give a shit either way if that ever gets tied up. Everyone being this excited to see a bunch of fucking weirdo strangers roll off a boat into their world, though...I dunno, screams 'fake' a little too loud for me.

Lucky, then. Not that I'm bitter or anything, just that it is really fortunate you're not stuck at what might feel like an impasse. I hate to admit it, but it feels like any move I make is the wrong one in a damned game of chess now. But I've always hated chess. But you're not wrong. It's all pretty convenient and timely for it to happen at once and display how welcoming and generous they are.

Then again, no one's taken my weapons from me. Could be they're just clueless, though.
