How is death viewed in the world you come from?

[Now there's a question. Mogget pauses a moment before he continues, just to let it sink in.]

In the Old Kingdom, when one dies, their soul moves over into a different realm. There they traverse nine gates along a river until finally passing on. I understand that this isn't the norm outside of my home world.

I dunno. Being a Heroic Spirit is a pretty fun deal. Even if I get to exist for a short period of time when summoned. Usually.

It's way weirder to be around for two years, like here. And alive again.

Agreed, Back in my world, that's impossible, but here— in certain circumstances Coven can and does reverse death for their own.
