I'm bringing a small announcement from Inkchanted— Thanks to everyone's mighty help, we have successfully created a spell matrix for self-healing spells! Bigger designs get more uses, smaller ones will give you one or two shots at it. Obligatory warning, t has no effects on Cwyld, do not try to heal broken bones that have not been correctly set-up first... you get the drill.
As another thing, we are currently seeking a jeweler capable of crafting crystals into bracelets, necklaces, you take it. Crystal batteries take all forms, so creativity is a plus. My Bonded used to make them, but sadly he's no longer here.
Personally, I'm going to check the Northern Outpost, as some of the stories Wilders brought recently are most curious. Also disturbing. I'll be bringing some ink with me, so if anyone wants a healing spell painted on, just get me there. Mind it will have one use only though and is less potent than a tattoo buuuut I can handle doing that in the field.

That's right. A dragon. Without magic. It's ridiculous. [What? Dragons had magic in his world!] That's fine. Do I get them from your shop as well? How many can you have without interfering with each other?

Tho I give you that, dragons without magic sound damn weird. Anyway— yeah, you drop by Inkchanted, tell us what kind of spells you wanna get etched, and we make a design that incorporates what you want. If that's possible, of course.
My recommendation is to start with something small, to get used to tapping into spells. If you weave several different effects as your first design, you might have trouble activating only one of them. Unless, that's the point and they are meant to fire off together— like fire resistance together with flaming fist haha.

I'll keep that in mind. I'll start with the healing spell to see how it works. I'm sure to get a use out of it out in the Wildes.

[ Oh if the text could transfer tone... ]
Now I'm curious, so indulge me if you can. Magic without limits sounds fascinating. How a world with such unlimited power function?

If you want a run-down of what I know about how magic works in my world--that I can do. It's not that complicated. Technically, anyone can use magic so long as they have materia.
Materia in the natural world is rare to come by but exists in the wild. A piece of materia can be used by anyone if they have the aptitude or patience to learn it. It's hard for some to comprehend but not impossible. There are many different types of materia that grant the user varying types of magic. But reviving the dead is one of them.
A piece of materia is a condensed form of the Lifestream of the Planet. It's an orb that contains the knowledge of the Planet and it's inhabitants. In other words, it grants the user knowledge that can be used to cast magic. Most people don't realize that's how it works. They just cast the spells. But in theory...
