[Justine appears on the network with a pristine white scarf circling her throat and a pinky rosy hue brushing the tip of her nose. Her dark eyes are lovely and those who look close enough might see a brilliant dark emerald green circling her iris. Snow falls around her, thick fluffy flurries catching in her dark lashes. Her midnight hair is covered by a matching hat that's been woven with runes that Justine has yet to perfect.

She hadn't expected snow when she'd been feeling the onset of summer only a week or so before.]

Hello. [Her voice is soft and delicately sweet.] I would like to offer handmade scarfs and hats to those who need them. Mitten as well. None-cursed. I promise. [She has already had an awkward moment with an enchanted scarfs.] For purchase or borrowing.

Please let me know if you would like any. I can try and accommodate for claws and hooves as well.

It depends on the claws. Mostly they have holes in them so that talons can slide through without ripping the fabric. I also have put rings around the different layers so that one tear won't unravel the whole glove.

[She doesn't know if he knows a lot about crotchet but it's sometimes easy to unravel.]

[He has very limited knowledge of crochet, but Tony does know what it takes to make clothing so he nods anyway. It makes enough sense that he can work it out.]

Do you have a lot of experience with, uh, claws? That's not something I usually see. At least not before coming here.

I don't but nails do the same thing. Since claws are sharper, I assume that it doesn't take as long.

It would be difficult to list everything but- [Justine's fingers thoughtfully brush against her low lip as she recalls one of the most traumatic nights of her life. She'll just have to leave that part of the story out.]

Halloween, two years ago, I went to a party held by a woman named Bianca. She had invited the Winter Sidhe there, a Godmother of a sorts. [Recalling the cold beautiful woman sent an unpleasant shiver down Justine's spine.] There was also a dragon there and representatives of the Council, Black Court and White Court.

The party itself was held by the Red Court.

[ Tony's eyebrows raise as he attempts to follow what she is saying, but mostly it's just a list of unfamiliar names. Dragon he gets, but the rest? ]

Sounds like a great party. Did you play croquet with the Queen?

I'm afraid it was more like an Anne Rice party.

[This is when Justine gets to learn if Tony has read anything written by Anne Rice.]

[Well, he does recognize the name. It's common enough. Maybe she likes conventions and is really invested?]

No. I mean that there really were vampires and many young people died or vanished that night.

[She'd died if Harry hadn't come back to get her and Susan. Technically speaking... Susan had died.]

Do you not believe in vampires?

[Do people really just say things like that? That sounds an awful lot like a thing he'd hear as a joke or as part of a convention. Most of the time the magical world seems a lot more secretive where he's from. It makes him pause doubtfully.]

I don't believe in Anne Rice. I believe in a lot of weird things. But from what I understand most of them wouldn't use her as a reference.

[He keeps his tone light and joking. He just can't tell how serious she is about this.]

Well, it depends on the type of vampire really. Those within the Black Court were all but wiped out after the publication of Bram Stoker's book Dracula. The Red Court are a bit different.

[She is being entirely serious.]

The type of vampire? So there are types?

[And that doesn't clear things up at all. She's talking about courts like that's a common term and it still sounds like someone perhaps discussing a book series. Which, after mentioning Anne Rice and Bram Stoker, maybe it is? Mentioning death offhandedly like that is kind of goth. Maybe she's the Lydia Deetz type.]

I don't think anyone's ever mentioned that part to me.

Well, that is how it is in my world.

I have not met a vampire here but I know that they drink blood and are a common species of monster. The Coven has some texts on the monsters. If you wish to learn more. It will likely help better than my awkward attempts at explain.

[Justine is charming but there is a lot that she doesn't understand.]

You're from a world that has vampires?

[Not that it's so unusual, but normally people don't just come out and say that seriously, right? It sounds way too far-fetched to the average person. Magic world or not, no one assumes vampires are a real thing.]

Yeah, I've heard they are around here. But here is pretty weird. Did weird stuff usually happen to you before this?

Among other things, yes.

[Justine doesn't see a reason to hide it since this world has far stranger creatures than her home.]

Sometimes. That depends on your definition of weird.
