[ The video comes on and Louis is front and center. He got a grasp on the technology pretty quickly. He's... annoyed, and he's not good at hiding it, either. His tone is just as annoyed. Like. He can't believe he has to go over this. ]

So, since this is the best way to get the message out from what I can tell, and I'm sick of repeating myself, so I'll only say this once.

[ Pause. He has a long pause between each of the words. ]

[ He lifts the camera up to get a full view of his head, to get a good shot at every angle. ]

I am just a deer. I arrived here like this.

I can't blame them. We don't have any talking deer where I'm from.

So far no one has any talking deer where they're from. There's no humans where I'm from.

[Interesting. Fie then lifts a hand up and moves her fingers.]

[ Lifts his hand up and mimics her. ]

And toes. Makes life easier all around I think.

[....... well that's kinda creepy.]

Yeah that's different. Where I'm from, deer have hooves.

I hear that. I'm guessing we evolved out of that, since it doesn't do me much good in day to day life to have hooves. It would be difficult to do things like hold forks and knives.

But isn't it difficult to get through doorways with the giant antlers?

Do you think I don't have doorways at home?

[ He's joking. mostly. ]

I'mm not sure. I'm assuming you think we all live in fields and eat grass or something. But we live in houses that have walls. Doorways are fine.

I have a house. I go to school. Read books, wear clothes. As far as I can tell, I'm more similar to humans of most worlds than animals.

That sounds like a fair statement.

[Now for the really important question.]

Can you wear a hat?

[ He almost...almost laughs. ]

Why would I need it? My antlers are enough decoration my head. I could wear at hat when they shed.

Or you could put multiple hats on them and be like... an improved hat rack.

[She's almost visibly proud of her stupid idea.]

[ He sounds indignant. ]

It could be really fancy.

How would it be improved, though? Why would my antlers prove better than a stationary one. I have concerns.

Then when my antlers shed, I can carry no hats. What good is a hat rack that's only a hat rack a part of the year?
