[ The video comes on and Louis is front and center. He got a grasp on the technology pretty quickly. He's... annoyed, and he's not good at hiding it, either. His tone is just as annoyed. Like. He can't believe he has to go over this. ]

So, since this is the best way to get the message out from what I can tell, and I'm sick of repeating myself, so I'll only say this once.

[ Pause. He has a long pause between each of the words. ]

Monster.

[ He lifts the camera up to get a full view of his head, to get a good shot at every angle. ]

I am just a deer. I arrived here like this.

[ Frown. ]

[ He shrugs. ]

I'm a witch, so I'm practicing magic. I'm not a monster, even a little. Just a deer who happens to have magic now.

You must realize that 'a deer who happens to have magic' is kind of a shocking statement to most people, don't you? If you're not used to humans then you must understand how people who aren't used to a world like yours must feel when meeting you.

And considering I was a normal human and now I am half-snake, assuming you're turning into a monster is not all that far off.

Considering magic doesn't exist where I'm from, it's weird enough to suddenly be able to practice it.

[ He leans into the camera, as if he's trying to catch a glimpse. Sorry, dude. ]

Half-snake? Are you poisonous?

[ He's asking the worst questions right now. ]

[A snort of amusement- that's the first time anyone's asked that.]

You know what, I don't believe I have ever tried. My fangs have grown a little bit, but since I haven't felt the urge to bite anyone I haven't tried that theory yet. I just have a fancy tail that I'm still getting used to, and a lot of scales.

[He motions at the sunglasses he's wearing.] And the eyes to go with it.

I mean, it could be worth knowing. It's a pretty useful skill.

[ In his opinion, at least - the addition of poison just makes him more effective. He can assume what that means about his eyes, and doesn't need a closer look, nor does he ask. ]

I suppose it would be, but unless someone offers themselves as a victim to be bitten there's not a way to know for sure if I'm turning into a poisonous snake or not.

And I prefer fighting with my sword rather than my teeth anyway.

I mean, if we had an antidote, you could probably get a few volunteers.

[ He shrugs. ]
