[ The video comes on and Louis is front and center. He got a grasp on the technology pretty quickly. He's... annoyed, and he's not good at hiding it, either. His tone is just as annoyed. Like. He can't believe he has to go over this. ]

So, since this is the best way to get the message out from what I can tell, and I'm sick of repeating myself, so I'll only say this once.

[ Pause. He has a long pause between each of the words. ]

[ He lifts the camera up to get a full view of his head, to get a good shot at every angle. ]

I am just a deer. I arrived here like this.

[ Frown. ]

Huh! For me, my world has things called "Quirks" - superpowers. Most of the world population has one, but...for people here, that's not a normal thing at all, you know?

[ It's fascinating. ]

Yeah, it's not where I'm from for sure. I've met someone since arriving here where they had powers at home, too. He didn't call them quirks, though.

From what I can tell, he no longer has those powers.

Mm, apparently anyone who had powers at home doesn't have those powers here...I've asked around about it a lot, and so far that's been the case every time?

[rightfoot]

So far that seem sot be what I've heard, too. Everyone's starting from scratch, pretty much. I guess it works on the idea of an even playing field to start.

[ But is it really, though. ]

Sort of! I've heard some of the witches say they had sort of similar powers back home, so I figure they might be learning a little faster?

[rightfoot]

That seems to be the case with people who had them at home. Makes sense, since these abilities are already a part of them. Are you a witch yourself?

I am here! Back home I was a, uh, hero in training?

So, a superhero, then?

[ They have stories about those...and even have someone who kind of like that. ]
