[Steven appears on camera, looking nervous but determined, like he's just stumbled upon something that he feels the need to tell everyone right now. So, here he is! Steven is very obviously a fae, complete with antennae and slightly too large, pink irises. Behind him, wings will occasionally flutter with agitation.]

Hey guys, Steven here! So - I told Nessie and Mhairi about that whole... dream... thing... we just had...

And it turns out neither of them had any idea that Dorchacht was doing things like that?? Nessie made it sound like their leader, Morgana, just seemed kind of racist at Coven meetings... not that they were enslaving an entire city's worth of monsters?

So... I think this is going to be a pretty big deal. They said they were going to get in contact with the Parliament about it, to see what they could do next. It didn't sound like they were okay with just letting them keep doing those things so, um... phew!

Aaaanyway... I thought you might want to know. I know I've been thinking about it a lot. Haha.

[He signs off, awkwardly.]

[OOC: This isn't massively relevant to this post, but Steven is currently wearing earrings that are charmed to tell him what the truth is when someone knowingly lies to him. So, if your character does that in the post, the earrings will probably tell him. Magic~!]

[This is definitely some homeworld drama Steven was completely unaware of. Is the SQUIP the bad guy where it's from? It really sounds like it.]

Do you need help? Are they still trying to hurt you?

Don't know. I'd say it's still pissed at me for going against its whole world domination plan or something. But... I think it might be used to thinking I'm supposed to be under its control too.

[He sighs, runs a hand through his red streak.]

Listen, it's a long story. I'll... try to talk about it when I'm ready. Right now, I don't know what it's going to try to do. Connor said it promised to stay away from me, but it obviously gave up on that.

Since freshman year. It got implanted in my brain to give me advice. Gave up on the 'advice' part pretty quick. I got it out before I came here, so... I didn't think it was going to have to be something I brought up again, you know?

[He knows this is... probably more than a little insane sounding, so he tries to give a small grin, despite all the other negative emotions twisting in his stomach.]

Hey, it's fine. I'll try to explain to everyone soon so they know it's bad news. I shouldn't be asking someone younger than me to look out for me, anyways.

Haha, I guess. [How novel, having someone leave him out of something because he's young. He'd almost forgotten the feeling.] Well... thanks for letting me know. I'll be careful.

[Sorry, Steven. You look to be at the exact point of life where a SQUIP would try to get to you. Rich doesn't want someone else to lose a bunch of time they should be spend developing like a normal human being on some machine's bullshit ideas.]

I'm glad you will... I mean, I know some people probably got to know it before I got here... but it's really good at charming people to get what it wants.
