[Kyo shifts, in getting comfortable a bit more as he glances to the watch before giving a beaming grin. Which one might note in how extremely rare that is to see on him of all people. But well, even Kyo has his certain....perhaps weaknesses isn't exactly right, but he has his certain hobbies and interests he gets excited about. Genuinely.

One of which is martial arts. And from the surroundings, Kyo seems to have finally managed to sort figuring a dojo. He gestures around him, grinning and all but bouncing in excitement.]

Hey guys! I know there's....a lot going on so this might not necessarily be the best timing but. I finally figured setting up a dojo! I know a few of you seemed keen when I talked about the idea before, so. This is it! I finally have a proper space for training! And I can teach some of you the basics in hand to hand if you want to learn. Not sure if some might want a crash course before you guys head off, but. Yeah, just wanted to let everyone know.

[Yes, he is well aware that this timing is...well, kind of odd. But it is how it turned out. It might work out anyway in giving them a bit of time to start training at least, before some of them leave, if they wanted. Regardless, Kyo just wanted to get it out there that he was sorted and now 'open', as it were.]

[Obviously, he knew Kyo was planning something like this, but it's been hard to keep track of exactly how far along the Cat was, what with the spooky dream city nightmares and Kyo's robust communication skills.]

Where is it? I should come visit! Are you going to need help finding karate outfits for everyone...?

Thanks! I can show you if you want. I actually wasn't sure on the uniforms or if people would have their own clothes they wanted to wear. But I guess I could figure some.

[At least, for Kyo himself, he would prefer it in being more used to fighting in it. Given he grew up in the martial arts uniform training with Kazuma and all.]

[ Hand to hand basics, you say? Kyo has gotten Asahi's attention. Not that she can't just simply punch people even without that, but especially in a place like this she figures it can't hurt to learn more.. ]

Hey, are you willing to teach anyone?

Kyo, I'm pretty sure you need uniforms for it to be a real dojo. Or you won't even be able to keep track of who's who when bad guys show up to challenge you!

[Kyo and Yuki and Hatsuharu may have all gotten kung fu lessons, but Momiji has definitely watched at least one karate movie and several cartoons. He knows how this works.]

Or at least fancy-colored belts!

Sure. Or, I mean, it isn't like I've actually taken over for Shishou back home at his dojo yet but. If someone wants to learn, especially some basics, that's easy enough. And I think I have guessed a decent price? The currency here is different to back home with the yen, but.

[He wants enough to get by at least. Support himself and Momiji. Help Mary out more. But otherwise he genuinely does just love martial arts and if he gets to share that in teaching others, something he is passionate about? That's enough for him.]

Okay, okay. I'll figure uniforms. The building itself and the rest of the supplies for it were more of a priority than thinking about uniforms though.

[He could figure an order for uniforms as needed, once he knew sizes and accommodations for the monsters as necessary. Once he had a basic idea on just ordering some in different sizes and going from there.]

Do you even know what the different belt colours mean?

Well.. I'm kind of still working out my money situation..

[ Everything has been kind of overwhelming. Between arriving in this place and that weird terrible dream with that other city, it's been hard to settle in in a normal way. ]

But reserve a spot for me once I'm done with that then. I really got to get better with the fighting stuff.

Mn, that makes sense! I can help you look for where to get them, if you want. Some of the outfitters in the city are super neat...! If you picked one out, you could just refer all your students there when they signed up, too.

[And Momiji is clearly the fashion consultant any aspiring martial arts studio would want on board. The pink, lace-collared dress shirt he's hanging out in today is very fierce.]

How good you are at beating people up! Even I know that one.

I get that. Newer arrivals might not have as much. Mostly I just want something because you know, I need it to support myself. And Momiji and Mary. I spent a while just doing some odd jobs here and there while figuring this out. But I can make a list, sure.

[Depending on how many people joined, how many classes he ends up with, he might need to consider a wait list or something of the sort. At the least, he needs to figure a list of those immediately keen anyway, so.]

I guess. If you wanted to help, sure.

[....And well. Yeah, at least Momiji understands the significance of the belt colours. Meaning the darker colours were those of higher skill in comparison. For the most part. Though at this point, Kyo isn't going to question Momiji's dress sense. He's used to it by now....]

Right. Well, I just wasn't sure. It isn't like you grew up training with Shishou like me and Haru did.

I can ask around! So you'll know what everything would cost and who could do it, at least.

...mm, they just wore those ones that look like white pajamas where you and Haru trained, right?

[He does actually know what they're called--thanks again, kung fu movies--but that's more descriptive! And, anyway, it's not like any of the clothiers in town will be familiar with them.]

Alright. If you want to help, go for it.

[Kyo then raises an eyebrow at that, unsure if Momiji is just messing with him or just genuinely that oblivious about martial arts.]

They're not pajamas. But....Yeah, those. That's what I'd want here too. They're loose so it's easier to move around in them.

Of course I get that. We all got to get by.

[ Even in terrible weird monster worlds, apparently. Honestly, it already almost feels weird just to discuss something so normal in a place as weird as this.

But there is something that stands out about what he's saying-- ]

Is the Momiji you're talking about the one with the rabbit ears?

What about Momiji? I mean, yeah that's him. My cousin.

[At least, they were both part of the Sohma. Momiji being accepted as part of the zodiac for being the Rabbit, unlike Kyo the Cat, but still. Kyo did feel some sort of responsibility in trying to keep an eye out for Momiji here given Hatori wasn't around to do so as he usually was.]

[He's only messing with him a little. But for now, he perks up and thrusts one hand up towards the sky like he's making a big announcement:]

Okay, I'll investigate and report back! And then you have to let me come visit,

Do you know if you'll have lots of students yet? I dunno how many people here are from places that even have karate--[Or whatever the technical term is for what Kyo's dojo back home teaches]--but I guess everywhere probably has punching.

I had a few people that seemed keen. That's why I'm telling everyone, so they know now.

[That and there were the newer arrivals as well. Just in case any of them might be interested. Even if the timing could be better, given the whole mess with politics at the moment.....]

I saw him over there in that other city. In that dream.. or whatever it was. [ It was her first time experiencing anything like that, so she still isn't really sure how to refer to it. Especially now people are actually going to go there. ]

He seemed pretty shaken up by it all. Is he doing better now?

Mn, I guess a lot of the Monsters might want to learn, if they don't have dragon claws or stuff like that to fight with. As scary as it's been lately...

[That's a much less happy thought, and the Rabbit's cheery tone simmers down a touch. He'd like to think that no one in the waking world is going to need to do anything like that, but there doesn't seem to be that much reason for optimism lately.]

It's not fair, the Witches here just get to read how to do stuff in books and have it work.

Yeah, that.....well, it's kind of harder to tell with him, given he's usually all smiles and loud.

[Though part of that is probably a facade, given the Sohma and their complicated families and all. But Kyo doesn't necessarily really know Momiji as well as some of the others that saw him more often back home, like Hatori and Tohru seeing him at work.]

Hm. So the timing might work out. I hope. Either way, I guess we'll see. I just figured since some had expressed interest and there wasn't any other dojo or anything here around yet, I may as well try start one.

[So doing what he loves. Teaching what he was passionate about. Even if it isn't home and isn't him taking over for Shishou like he might have hoped, part of him.]

I dunno if I would rather deal with their spells or potions being messed up or this.....

[ That really would make it harder to tell, huh. This is exactly part of why Asahi hates lying so much - it makes things so unnecessarily complicated at times. There's a worried frown on her face. ]

Did you.. at least ask him about it?

[ Apparently that seems like the obvious first step to her after a dream like that, but then again, Asahi is very set in her own beliefs. ]

I figured he would tell me when and if he was ready.

[Kyo is well aware he and Momiji aren't necessarily the closest of the Sohma. He figures it would be strange if here he tried to be all buddy or whatever. So he's just mostly trying to keep things as he used to be back home with the rabbit. Or as close to, with living together now and all.]

[ She sounds a little sulky when she says it, but she can't really blame him for that when it's not like she herself tried to contact the boy to ask. But they were practically still strangers, it'd be super weird if she did it, right? ]

Well, at least it's good to know he isn't totally alone in this place. This is no place for kids. [ Asahi, you're not even that much older... Please.. ]

....You do know he is a year younger than me, right? He's not that young as you might be assuming.

[It isn't like she would be the first or likely last to underestimate him for his age. Assuming he was younger than he really was, given Momiji's appearance and personality/behaviour.]
