SURE IT IS! ALTHOUGH I THINK YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND MY QUESTIONS. I AM NOT ADVOCATING FOR ANY SPECIFIC KIND OF PUNISHMENT IN RESPONSE TO ANY SPECIFIC KIND OF ACTION. IF THE 'PUNISHMENT' YOU BELIEVE WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR AN ACTION YOU CONSIDER 'UNACCEPTABLE' IS 'NO PUNISHMENT' THEN THAT IS DATA I AM INTERESTED IN RECORDING!

What made you wonder about this?

I think about it a lot but I guess I'm still not really sure

I WOULD BE INTERESTED IN SEEING MORE OF YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THIS SUBJECT, IT SEEMS LIKE YOU HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT IT

I think that whenever I try to figure out answers to this stuff I just end up thinking of more questions

I kind of found out that my moms sort of sisters were like.... tyrannical overlords? and they hurt a lot people and ruled like that for thousands of years. They would have definitely said that if someone does something unacceptable you should just destroy them or lock them up or punish them, because that made things easier. Like its the easiest thing to understand, if you have rules and you just live by them all the time no matter what?

But people are so complicated and life is so complicated I don't ever know what the best thing to do is, I just kind of know what I CAN do and what I want to do

I think the important thing is to try to be better and to make it so people can be better. The less people hurt the better it is, even if some of them did bad things or even i guess stuff that's probably unacceptable

It's just really hard, especially when people are still hurting... after being in Dorchacht I don't even know. Could people who did things like that be better? I hope so but who could ever decide that

ANSWERS USUALLY LEAD TO MORE QUESTIONS IN MY EXPERIENCE, THAT'S ONE OF THE REASONS I LIKE LOOKING FOR THEM SO MUCH! DON'T YOU THINK IT WOULD BE BORING IF WE KNEW ALL THE ANSWERS TO EVERYTHING?

THIS IS PRETTY INTERESTING THOUGH. HOW WOULD YOU DEFINE 'BETTER', WHEN YOU SAY THE IMPORTANT THING IS TO TRY TO BE BETTER? HOW CAN YOU MAKE IT SO PEOPLE CAN BE BETTER?

Mostly just making it so they know that they can be better. Like so they know it's an option? If you show them that there is a better way in comparison to whatever they're doing, like a way that doesn't involve hurting people... maybe they are more likely to do it.

Better is probably when everyone is happier. Where you aren't hurting anyone or hurting yourself. The smallest amount of bad things happening as a result of your actions. You have to be good to other people but you also have to try to be good to yourself.
