I GUESS YOU COULD SAY IT WAS KIND OF LIKE THAT SURE! THEY ARE DEAD BUT I INHERITED THE KINGDOM OF DRYL FROM THEM AND THE KINGDOM BASICALLY TOOK CARE OF ALL THE STUFF I USE MONEY FOR HERE.
AFTER I LEFT DRYL THOUGH PEOPLE STILL PRETTY MUCH JUST GAVE ME ALL THE STUFF I NEEDED, I GUESS BECAUSE THEY WERE INTERESTED IN MY RESEARCH

THE HORDE WERE REALLY INTERESTED IN MY RESEARCH INTO THE ANCIENT TECHNOLOGY THAT PERMEATES OUR PLANET THOUGH

OH THEY'RE KIND OF LIKE... A KINGDOM? I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THEIR POLITICAL STRUCTURE EXACTLY, I KNOW THEIR LEADER IS THIS GUY HORDAK BUT I HAVEN'T TALKED TO HIM MUCH. THEY SHOWED UP A LITTLE WHILE BACK AND THEIR TECHNOLOGY IS WAY MORE ADVANCED THAN ANYTHING ELSE I'VE EVER GOTTEN TO PERSONALLY WORK ON, IT'S BEEN REALLY FASCINATING TO STUDY!

THE PEOPLE I USED TO WORK WITH, THE PRINCESS ALLIANCE, ARE I GUESS FIGHTING AGAINST THEM, BUT THEY'RE REALLY NOT VERY THREATENING OR SCARY. I THINK A LOT OF THINGS THAT SOUND THREATENING ARE JUST MISUNDERSTOOD

i mean as long as youre making an informed decision
paying attention to politics might be a good idea before taking a stance on that kind of thing

NORMALLY THIS KIND OF SUBJECT DOESN'T INTEREST ME AS MUCH AS MOST OF MY OTHER AREAS OF RESEARCH IF I AM HONEST
I FIND A LOT OF IT REALLY HARD TO UNDERSTAND AND STUFF LIKE ENGINEERING AND MAGITECH AND COSMIC PHYSICS IS WAY MORE INTERESTING!
BUUUT I WANT TO TRY TO UNDERSTAND WHAT PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS STUFF BETTER MAYBE SO THAT I DON'T UPSET SOME OF MY FRIENDS OR DRAW NEGATIVE ATTENTION THAT WOULD DISRUPT MY RESEARCH BY DOING THINGS CONSIDERED CATEGORICALLY "BAD" BY A MAJORITY OF PEOPLE

i guess those are valid enough reasons
i mean i started trying to be less bad because of my own friends
i didnt want to hurt them anymore

it was kind of a complicated situation but thats still not an excuse for what i did so

i mean mainly by beating the crap out of them and saying a bunch of awful things

well basically
it was a nanomachine inside a pill you could take
i think eventually the pill would break down until it was small enough to get into your bloodstream and travel up to your brain
and then it implanted there and basically got control of my body and memories and shit

it was supposed to use all that to be a guide and help me become popular
spoiler alert that didn't work

OH THIS IS FASCINATING, I'VE NEVER SEEN ANY KIND OF TECH SO COMPACT AND VERSATILE! CAN YOU EXPLAIN HOW IT WORKS?

i dont really know how to even explain it
i mean i was just a guinea pig for it
i got one when i was a teenager i had no idea how nanomachines work
apparently there was something in this soda that activated it?
and then a different drink to deactivate it but they discontinued that one so people couldnt get out of the brainwashing

but yeah it was a social guide mainly
it was supposed to give you instructions to achieve your goals whatever they were
i wanted to be noticed by people so it jacked up my body and brain chemistry into a big bullying asshole
my buddy jeremy wanted a girl to like him so he got turned into a douchebag pick up artist

but that was just to cover up its actual plan
which was to get everyone to have a squip inside their brain and create a hivemind
