[ His video is set up so he can clearly show his entire face on the network as he talks. The camera seems steady, and he is leaning forward, propping his chin on the palm of his hand as he talks. His expression seems almost annoyed, though not serious. ]

Everyone has seemed rather upset. I guess for good reasons. Mostly, at least.

[ There's the slightest pause, as if he's trying to figure out the best way to explain it. ]

But, with that, I think we need to start looking forward, and I feel like an overdue distraction might be the best way for us to take the first step.

[ He closes his eyes, and tilts his head slightly. ]

A party. Something fun where people can dress nice. Something like a masquerade, I guess. Or a formal party of sorts. I guess it would depend on what others are interested in or what the participation will be.

If I see interest, then I don't mind starting to put stuff together.

Maybe it would be a good time to make amends if you hurt anyone. We could use an unoccupied larger house.

But, I wouldn't want to do it alone, so there is also that.

Not typically much of a party person, but I can't exactly deny the need for it. Morale around here could use a kick in the ass. So... Sign me up. I'll bring a pu pu platter.

Absolutely, sounds good. I can't say I'm familiar, but food is a necessity.

People do seem pretty down. I know how it can eat away at people, so I figured this might be a good... boost.

It's... Polynesian/Chinese American light fare. Like an hors d'oeuvre platter, but... Usually greasier.

[ She's thinking specifically of the stuff she used to order in on busy nights back on Earth, before she got stationed on Talos. Whenever she had no family or guests to entertain that is, because the Yus presented a public face of being more a 'fine wine and caviar' kind of family. ]

...Details're probably not important, point is I'll. Cook up something. All else fails, I'll bring some booze.

Oh. I thought it sounded like a human type of food. [ Well, he's not wrong. ] Well, whatever you'd love to bring sounds good. I'm hoping to check with the Coven to see if they support the idea, but personal touches from everyone sounds great.

It'd be kind of weird if they didn't support it. Or are you just hoping to get extra resources?

I'm hoping for more resources and their blessing. I'd throw one without their approval, but it's easier if they give it.

You're probably safe. It would be hilariously on the nose if the coven added party pooping to their list of missteps.

Probably. But, you never know. All depends on their mood.
