Ahem, I believe it is working! It is a pleasure to meet you, good people of Aefenglom! Vive la France!

So, I know that celebrations of Samuin are set to begin soon and I cannot wait to attend! However, if after the festivities you will still have some energy in you, the 2nd of Noveuer is also my birthday and I would love to celebrate with everyone here! It does not matter if we have talked before or not, you are invited anyway! And please bring your friends, I want to meet them!

[She moves backwards a bit and more of her surroundings can be seen. She is standing in front of the house she is living in with Scathach and Zelda. Come to think of it, she did not discuss this with them yet. Whoops.]

A birthday! How nice. I'm sure with all that's happening people will be grateful for the opportunity to relax like that.

[But it's the mention to France that has caught his attention. He may have almost gotten killed at the guillotine in France, but he still loves that country's food oh so much. And in a place like this, where people come from such different places, worlds and universes any mention of familiar places gets his attention.]

Sorry if I'm being too direct, but- did you mention France? Are you French, by chance?

[French guillotines were absolutely terrible, Marie knows something about that firsthand. She would not be bringing them up. However, the fact that he got interested when she mentioned her country... another potential Friend of France! Exciting!]

I am Austrian by birth, but France is the country I made my home during my lifetime! What about you, sir? Are you from France?

[He always makes sure to word it carefully, never lying and saying he's British. It's just that telling people he's from Heaven tends to get pretty weird reactions.]

But I have always been an admirer of your adoptive country- particularly their scrumptious food. So it was nice to hear said country being mentioned again.

[ Asahi is so terrible with social gatherings. But on the other hand, even though she only talked to Marie once, the other had been so nice to her back then that she can't just ignore this without feeling super guilty. ]
