As so many people ask questions, advertise, or whatever on this thing I figure I have nothing to lose doing the same.
You see I have a particular problem. A pest problem. I'm looking for creative ways to rid myself of this little bug that seems super intent on sticking around. Normally I wouldn't bother with something like this but my usual methods of getting rid of unwanted things?
Well. It's not working.

if you get angry or sound hostile they arent gonna want to listen
which sucks

say you want to understand why he doesn't think coming back together is a good idea
give him time to explain and ask questions and try not to get pissed
when hes done try to explain why you want to and let him ask questions
maybe in the end therell be some compromise or one of you will understand a little better and change your mind
