Hello everyone! With the recent events, there are a few thing I would like to address! Mainly, a few items that found their way into my hands that I believe belong to someone else!

First would be this violin!

[Attached is a picture of the aforementioned instrument. It is quite blurry, Marie is most likely not Aefenglom's best photographer, even if among other French citizens of the 18th century she would probably rank fairly well. There is a logo of the maker visible in the picture. It is rather blurry but maye you still recognize it?]

As much as I would love to be able to play one well, I am very much just a listener, so I believe it should be returned to the original owner! Amadeus? Salieri? Wataru? Does it look familiar to any of you? Or maybe it could belong to Elliot?

Second thing that found its way to me would be a cookbook!

[The second picture she attached is a bit more readable than the first. It's a very old-looking book. Whose could it be?]

I believe it might have been mistakenly given to me because it is in French! However, it was not originally mine so I would love to return it to the owner! If I do not find them, though, I will donate it to one of the city's resturants.

Third item, is... uh...

[She should have locked this part of the post. But she did not and here it is. Purple, shiny bunny suit. Very sexy!]

Salieri... I probably should not have searched your things, but your room is such a mess I wanted to do something nice for you and clean it up a bit. However, I came across this stuffed under your bed and I...

Listen to me, I understand everything. I have never judged your interests and neither do I now. However, I also think that neither should you! If this is something you are into, rather than hide it under your bed, wear it with pride!

Though I am a bit puzzled on how you find this in Aefenglom... Is it... someone else's?

[She was not going to tell him that directly, obviously. However, they are connected by a Bond. Her feelings about the idea of bunny suit Amadeus were definitely strong and sudden enough for her Bonded to notice.]

And if I told you not to wear it, would you listen?

[She would not tell him that though. As long as he and Salieri liked it...]

[ for some inexplicable reason, this idea tickles him pink. he laughs, suddenly and loudly on the other end and effectively shatters his hurt and sincere facade. ]

Pfft– ahahaha!

[ there's just something about marie lecturing him about this that he finds hilarious and absurd. ] Do I dare ask why you would decree such a thing?

[Amadeus is right, she has no reason to do so and at least until this moment was not seriously considering getting involved in whatever fetish wear the composer might like to wear. At this point, however, she might do it, just to get back at Amadeus for his teasing]

The public decency of all of Aefenglom is at stake here, Amadeus. As its citizens, even if that should be temporary, we are all tasked with protecting it.

[And given that she was Bonded to both Amadeus and Salieri, she might be getting more snippets of their relationship she did not ask for.]

[ "public," she says! he's laughing again – what a terrible conversation. ]

You know, I'm beginning to feel a deep chill in my soul. The heavens are sure to punish me if I have you admit any more of what you're imagining. [ he snorts.

now he feels as though he's competing with marie to see who will break this farce first. it's a good thing the rest of the queen's beloved salon isn't here to listen to this, lest amadeus meet his demise at the end of a broadsword or saber. ]

As for your accusations, Maria — I plead not guilty. [ there. ]

[Marie puffs her cheeks. It is cute, but it is probably s good thing she is not on video conversation with Amadeus. He would never have let this down. He surely was a scoundrel,]

I would advise you to be more careful, Amadeus. Whatever you are doing with this costume and however did it end up in your possession is no concern of mine - and I intend to have it remain this way.

[They have been Bonded for some time by now but the extent to which their connection worked was still not fully clear to her. How much could Amadeus tell? Or was it just a matter of knowing her well snd no magicsl Bond involved?]

[ well, he can feel her rising levels of indignation, that's for certain.

It's not mine! Nor is it Salieri's. They must have stuffed it into his hands back at the Coven. I imagine he tossed it away like an evil relic the minute he pulled it from the box.

... I was only joking. Don't be mad. [ it truly is a good thing they aren't on video call, or else marie might have to see amadeus's attempt at puppy eyes. ]

What? I am not mad. [But it might have been a different story if she actually did see the puppy eyes

Alright, but back to the issue on hand... It makes sense.]

Huh. The original owner must be looking for it. We should probably search for them... Are you sure Salieri did not even try putting it on out of curiosity?

[If it was Marie who received the package, she would have tried it on. Just once, to see how cute she would look in it. Why would Salieri be different?]

[ that is such an incredibly valid and worthy question that immediately makes amadeus reconsider suspending his teasing.

there's a long stretch of silence on the other end as the composer muffles the watch in his palm and tremble-laughs into his arm. you're really going to kill him, marie.

when he finally speaks again, he has to clear his throat. ]

Maria, I have no idea, but I'm willing to place a wager on Salieri being unable to refuse you if you ask him to try it, if you're so curious. [ interesting suggestion! but, y'know, she does seem rather curious. ]

[And yet if his gravestone were to read “cause of death - Queen of France asking the real questions”, this would probably be preferable to the mysterious illness that killed him in his human life. At least that’s what Marie would have thought. And nobody could blame Salieri for this one, though maybe indirectly one could.

Not that Marie wants either of them to die (again) so...]

As much as I would like to see it [she admits it], we should probably look for the original owner. For their and Salieri’s sake.

Ah, you admitted it. [ and he points it out. ] They could be anywhere in the city. I suppose I could try my hand at a divining spell the next time I visit. [ divination is not high on his list of specialties, hence the "try."

a beat. a silence. and then: ]

... Are you telling me Salieri wouldn't be threatening public decency if he wore it?

[There’s a pause. She is certainly considering it. Seriously.]

He might, but... [But even the good queens are not always above watching Aefenglom burn to have their curiosity satisfied]

Don’t you think it is strange nobody came to claim this outfit?
