QUESTION:

When considering patronising a shop, do you prefer when it has a name that makes it easy to understand exactly what is offered there, or one that is "creative"?

I take your point. I mean, I understand it should be eye-catching, but a sign's first and foremost object is to inform, isn't it?

It doesn't have to be quite so dull to be practical.

Would you rather it not say 'grocery' anywhere on the sign?

Of course! I would not feel curious and compelled to go in and check it out if the sign just spoiled the whole mystery for me!

I wasn't aware shopping should be a mystery. Don't you want to know what you're purchasing? Do you also prefer the store clerk pick out random items and put them in a bag for you without your knowledge?

No. The shop in question intends to provide services that help non-humans use runic spells more easily and without needing the help of a Witch.

In the case you described, a creative name is definitely necessary, I believe! The element of mystery needs to be there. It is magic, after all!
