QUESTION:

When considering patronising a shop, do you prefer when it has a name that makes it easy to understand exactly what is offered there, or one that is "creative"?

He's of the opinion it's more important to have a short, catchy name. I don't disagree, but his suggestions were nonsense.

Something about being 'poetic'. It's not a terrible idea, but I think it's important to be clear about it -- more important to be clear than to be creative, in any case. So I thought casual polling might be a good resource.

Genuine question here! Do you consider the majority of the business in Aefenglom to have scummy names. Just going by the part-time job board, there are a lot of names of the kind:

Leeches and Lycanths
RoseBush
To the Wick
The Daisy Chain

most of the shops here sound like something straight out of a film where the protagonist would go to some backstreet to get some shady stuff

even if it's not the intention behind the name it's still what i'm going to think whenever i see it
but i guess other people might have different opinions [ You.. 'guess', Asahi.. Opinions are always different from person to person, that's why they're opinions! ]
