i have some tools lying around from my old roommate before she left or whatever
what the hell happened?
no subject
As for how.
I ripped it off by accident.
no subject
let me know where you are, i'll do what i can
been a while since i've had to put something together but if i can make a gun, i can put a door back on its hinges
sudden burst of strength or something?

I'm at one of the apartments, second floor.
And thanks, by the way.
[Have some identifying number or... something, idk.]
no subject
it's only because you know Lancer.
[what's up, Em is still terrible at lying. normally once she gets to somebody's place, she'd knock on the door, but that's kind of the issue. she's holding a small toolbox that should have enough to get things repaired, and with her free hand she raps on the doorframe.]
Did a number on this thing, huh.
no subject
[Ripped it right off the hinges.]
I uh, just got strong all of a sudden and... yeah.
no subject
[she leans in close to survey the damages and... yikes. yeah, this stuff just got torn right out of the frame, huh, huh. all right. Em places the toolbox down, then bends down with it to start looking through the stuff Entrapta might have left her with. she'll need something to what, patch the holes? then find a way to drill new ones and use the same screws to re-mount it. it'll take a little time but. she's pretty sure she can do this.]
[gods. she's not a repairwoman, she's a gunsmith if she's anything. a gunsmith whose snout is protruding maybe a little more than she wants it to as of late, but that's the problem with being a puca. at least her ears haven't come in yet.]
Was this during the moon stuff or... you were here for the fog, right? [she pulls some small wooden rods and a black marker out of the box, then gets back to her feet with a grunt and starts trying to measure how deep the screw holes go into the frame.] Probably wasn't that long ago, unless you really don't give a crap about privacy. And if I know what everyone else was doing, you were probably tearing off clothes instead of doors.

I don't know when, exactly, I just noticed it today as I ripped my door apart.
[Kind of hard not to notice.]
The scary part is how easy it was. Like, I wasn't even trying.
no subject
Yeah. That kind of thing happens when... gods, I guess they're not called Semblances here. [she's got a good idea of how deep these holes go, so the next step is taking the dowels and using—dammit, Entrapta.]
A laser cutter? Come on, these things are gonna catch on fire. [she rifles through again and there's a smaller, handheld power saw near some other tools that her old roommate probably would've thought were boring. Emerald takes that and quickly cuts off part of the rods. once that noise dies down, she continues.]
Monster powers or whatever. When they kick in. I've only gotten most of mine in dreams, but they all seem like total pains in the ass. Any idea what you're gonna turn into yet? 'Cause strength like that probably means a werewolf or something.

[Things have changed for Jill, but they're subtle enough that she hasn't really picked up. Like, for example, how it's the middle of the day and she just busts out a loud yawn.]
Shit, sorry, that came out of nowhere. Anyways, I definitely haven't grown anything extra, including hair or claws.

Careful or you're gonna fall asleep standing up. I guess tearing up a door takes a lot out of you. [she turns her head up, idly thinking about the kinds of things she's seen so far.] Let's see. You don't have feathers or scales or fur that you're letting me see, so that knocks out a whole bunch of them all at once. That either means faerie, which I think is some kind of illusion thing, or... vampire? I think?
[she comes close to tapping her chin with the tip of the gun, but feels the heat coming off and pulls away at the last second. that's one hell of a way to get her heart racing.]
Any fun new thoughts on blood?
no subject
[Her eyes went wide for a moment once the suggestion had been made. Jill had done her research on the types of Monsters one could turn into. The fact that she hadn't shown any external changes was the main reason why she'd been stumped.
But the idea of a vampire...
It made a frightening amount of sense and the blanks were rapidly beginning to fill in for her.]
I-I haven't given it much t-thought. But sometimes after I eat a meal I still feel... hungry.
[She really didn't like this.]
no subject
[well, let it never be said Emerald hasn't helped someone out, even if she's not especially happy about how she's doing it. she doesn't want to have been right.]
What kind of hungry? For even more food than you just ate, or for... you know. [and with her free hand this time, she pokes two fingers at the side of her neck spaced about fang-width apart.] Because if it's just blood, you could eat your meat blue, right?

If magic isn't necessary, I may be able to assist.

And then I can learn.
