Hello everyone!

As many people have noticed, there isn't anything in the way of rock music in this world. So my friend Crow and I have been working on synthesizing the sound of rock music instruments using audio illusions using classical instruments and memory. And I'm happy to say, I think we've pulled off!

So I'm here to present the first rock style song in Aefenglom: Unfathomed Force!

Unfortunately, the process of creating a new song with audio illusions takes a long time, not everyone can learn how to do it, and honestly the quality will never be as good as having it played from a real band.

So I was wondering if there was any people out there interested in reverse engineering instruments that make rock music sound. I can help with giving isolated instrument sounds and tell you everything I know about specs, but I'll admit I'm not exactly an instrument maker. So I can't say it'll be easy. But...seeing how many worlds rock music has reached, I think it'd be a really worthwhile project.

That reminds me though— I met one of the other musicians at the Masquerade. His name was Wataru. He said that he crafts violins. I wonder if he might be able to help in some way.

Haha, it was actually pretty fun to challenge myself. Though I don't think I could've pulled it off without Crow.

It's really not. Rieveldt wouldn't be such a big deal if anyone could make instruments like that.

That’s true, I’m sure there is a lot of precision and care involved. I hope you can get the help you need though. It would be nice to see what you could come up with next with the right instruments.

I don't know how useful this is, but I can play and sing most of the Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks back catalogue on the cello. And I have one.

Hehe, it's a really unique sound, right?

Rock uses electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals, and sometimes keyboards. Violins can also be used to create a rock sound, but I admit that's not as common.

Haha, well I can't say I'm familiar with Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks, but if they're popular rock artists ... maybe we can work on recreating and recording their music.

Thanks Mozart! [yeeee] I know rock typically has more vocals and lyrics as a focus, but we felt having that one would overshadow the instruments we wanted to showcase.

Also, we wanted a piece that left an impact on listeners. And nothing does that better than a symphony.

That'd be correct. I craft and repair violins, though so far I don't have much material to carry on with myt work here.
