Hello everyone!

As many people have noticed, there isn't anything in the way of rock music in this world. So my friend Crow and I have been working on synthesizing the sound of rock music instruments using audio illusions using classical instruments and memory. And I'm happy to say, I think we've pulled off!

So I'm here to present the first rock style song in Aefenglom: Unfathomed Force!

Unfortunately, the process of creating a new song with audio illusions takes a long time, not everyone can learn how to do it, and honestly the quality will never be as good as having it played from a real band.

So I was wondering if there was any people out there interested in reverse engineering instruments that make rock music sound. I can help with giving isolated instrument sounds and tell you everything I know about specs, but I'll admit I'm not exactly an instrument maker. So I can't say it'll be easy. But...seeing how many worlds rock music has reached, I think it'd be a really worthwhile project.

That reminds me though— I met one of the other musicians at the Masquerade. His name was Wataru. He said that he crafts violins. I wonder if he might be able to help in some way.

Oh yeah I remember Wataru! It was fun playing with him. I didn't know he made violins though. That's a serious skill!

As a fan, I’m seriously impressed with both of you. What you did takes a lot of skill too.

We kind of talked about it in passing, but I thought it might help. It’s not every day you meet someone who can do something like that after all.

Haha, it was actually pretty fun to challenge myself. Though I don't think I could've pulled it off without Crow.

It's really not. Rieveldt wouldn't be such a big deal if anyone could make instruments like that.

Listening to that sure brought back some memories. It’s been a while since I listened to anything like it.

That’s true, I’m sure there is a lot of precision and care involved. I hope you can get the help you need though. It would be nice to see what you could come up with next with the right instruments.

I know what you mean. It felt pretty nostalgic working on it.

Here's hoping! And not just for me, I'd love other musicians to have a chance to express themselves with rock too.

Well...

Usually rock songs are done with a vocalist. And a female voice might be nice. We were able to mimic Vita's voice for this song, but anything with lyrics would be too hard to replicate realistically, you know....

Well we did talk about wanting to get a band together a few months ago. It's been a bit since then but-- I think it'll be even better now.

I'm looking forward to hearing it.

Oh yeah we did, didn't we? Well, that that idea's still on the table! Assuming we can get the instruments made.
