recently my truest friend has been summoned from the mirrors but for now he lacks platonic friends to spend time with. he has been living a solitary life as a king and i do not want him to be alone anymore.

his name is gilgamesh. he is very fond of his treasures and also knows the greatest stories about them. he enjoys wine as well. he is great to spar with and likes to go on adventures. his favorite color is gold. once he introduced me to beer and bread and allowed me to eat and drink everything i wanted.

would people like to become his platonic friend? or another sort of friend? as i know that many sorts of friendships are possible.

let me know if you have questions or want to meet him. he can be a bit fussy at first but please do not let it get to you. he has been alone. for a long time.

perhaps i can make bread and buy beer. i got quite some coins from the trial. the coven is quite sorry for what has happened.

What happened should not have. I am still sorry that it did, and the Coven should be very sorry. That could have gone much worse for them.

i do not trust them. to me what they have done seems what humans always do when they are sorry. they give coins and make promises. as if all this currency can make up for what has happened. or why they waited for so long.

it took so long. they did not even know we were gone until some escaped. it worries me somehow. yet i cannot truly say what it is that worries me.


a lot of people seem to dislike beer as well.

We knew you were gone, Enkidu. We could not find you. The mass arson was an excellent way to mask the kidnapping, as much of the city burned, but we should have been more prepared.

Believe me when I say that I am sorry, it was as much on the Mirrorbound not having an emergency response group as it was on the Coven.

i do not think this is your fault. this is the coven's fault. after all, they should know about this. they oversee the city, they are the ones who summons us and want the cwyld gone.

[But then again, Enkidu doesn't entirely understand politics. And to be fair, humanity is also a difficult thing to understand as well.]

My Bonded were fine. Hubert and Corrin both. I had friends like you who were taken, but not them.

And I feel that I need to correct you. I am sorry and please do not take it amiss, but as your friend I need to clarify things.

The Coven does not summon us. They are as baffled by our presence as we are. They may have their own goals that differ from ours, but they are not at fault for bringing us to this world. They are not all-seeing and all-knowing.

Also, they do not oversee the city. They are a group that works with the city's Parliament. A Parliament is council of elders that make decisions in the place of a king or an emperor, if you do not know what that word means. That is why they punished those wretched Rathmores.

You should also know that Parliament has agreed to allow Mirrorbound to work with them. Ozymandias and I, among others, will be joining them. Trust me when I say that this will not happen again.

they have all these mirrors and they seem to be made for us. adorned with things that is personal to who we are. there are these dreams. if they do not want us here, if it is all an accident, why do they keep these mirrors?

multiple kings? that cannot work well. they should have punished them earlier. if this parliament oversees everything. now my friend is here, i dread to find him the way you found me. and he is far stronger than i am.
