PLATONIC FRIENDS NEEDED!

recently my truest friend has been summoned from the mirrors but for now he lacks platonic friends to spend time with. he has been living a solitary life as a king and i do not want him to be alone anymore.

his name is gilgamesh. he is very fond of his treasures and also knows the greatest stories about them. he enjoys wine as well. he is great to spar with and likes to go on adventures. his favorite color is gold. once he introduced me to beer and bread and allowed me to eat and drink everything i wanted.

would people like to become his platonic friend? or another sort of friend? as i know that many sorts of friendships are possible.

let me know if you have questions or want to meet him. he can be a bit fussy at first but please do not let it get to you. he has been alone. for a long time.

i dunno about all the beer and drinking stuff but i'd be more than happy to make new friends and to spar with them! it's been hard to get used to fighting without my usual skills but it's a fun challenge too! i wanna see how much i can do now! how does he fight? with a sword?

you need to drink to survive. water will do as well.

that is a familiar feeling. we all have to change our methods one way or another. my friend belongs to the archer class, yet he can fight with every weapon. he is quite strong. i think he will be able to give you quite a challenge.

i take it you have much experience with fighting?

hahah yeah water is a thing but i'm passing on the beer!

but wow he can fight with every weapons? that's really cool. now I really wanna see what he's like.

i fight a lot back home, yeah! my weapons can change shape so i know a few ways to fight but it's a little harder now without my usual magic on top of that! so far so good though!

water is way better when it comes to quenching thirst. beer is very good when it comes to feasts.

that is quite amazing. i used to be able to change the shape of my weapons as well so i am sure gil would be pleased with your abilities. the last time we battled i lost at least ninety percent of my clay and if you are able to provide such a challenge to him.

i've never had beer before, is it really good for feasts? doesn't it taste weird?

and my name's sora! it's really awesome to meet a lot of other people who know how to change weapons or the form of their weapons! do you still like sparring too?

no. beer tastes like beer. it can be a bit bitter at times but if you drink one brewed in the summer it is far sweeter. like wine. but it is not wine.

i like it a lot. my platonic friends have been so kind to me. they treat me as if i am a true human and it warms me so. i must say that i do not have that ability anymore. the coven wants me to use the magic given to me.

but i would like to spar. yes.

A lot of people have said they're healing up from something bad that happened a while ago. Was that you too? I hope you're okay! I don't wanna push anyone until they're feeling better.

well uhh... my first day here was kind of a mess. i didn't get to see all the stuff all the other newbies got to see because i was busy trying to help someone out.

[Sora completely missed the briefing at the opening orientation because he was too busy bonding with a certain golden-eyed witch boy that was almost dying because he refused to bond with anyone.]

i hope you feel better soon, though. if you're something cool like a weapon made by gods that sounds like you'll be okay pretty quick. but thanks, enkidu. i hope i can meet you and your friend sometime soon.

i barely remember my first day either. except that i told a story of a long time ago to some of the children at the harbor. and i drank beer with caren. did you manage to help your someone out?

wow you must really like beer! but yeah, i did manage to help him. he was really sick so i was glad i was able to do something. i just wish i could do more for him. he's kinda stubborn about things sometimes.

i am awesome? i have never been called awesome. i think it is a good thing to be awesome, then. if a human thinks so. before we part, may i ask you what you think is the most awesome about me?

ummm it was a little worse than that. it was the sickness witches get when they don't bond with someone. it felt like a storm was going to explode around him and stuff

but it worked out, there's nothing to be worried about now! we bonded!

i know of that. it feels as if your skin is unable to sustain what is inside of you. when i got it, my skin cracked and i got very tired.

bonding is quite a serious matter. i cannot blame him for not wanting to bond. it is not a decision that is easy to make.

it is quite new to me. so awesome means that i am nice? it was a serious matter when i wasn't a servant. now i am nothing more than a part of an old story.

geeze... yeah, he felt really warm and it was like he was burning up with a really bad fever. you're right. i'm glad he did decide to bond though

but yeah! being awesome means you're nice or amazing or both! if you're a good person then you're awesome.
