_{[When the feed connects there's nothing to be seen other than a standard sized, wooden chair in the middle of a meagerly furnished dorm room. Soon however a rather petite figure comes into view, one with a cute face and rather large, pointy ears. She can't be more than three feet tall by the looks of it and once she's clambered atop the chair she's left standing on it, only to thrust her arms dramatically in the air for a big wave, a high pitched voice following the action.]}

Hullo! I'm Tataru Taru but just Tataru will do. Twenty one summers old and at your service!

_{[That's right, she's just fun sized. Her arms drop to her sides as she continues.]}

Now I know I haven't been here for very long, but I realized rather quickly that not many here have heard of Lalafell. No I am not a Fae, nor am I anything but a fully grown lady - we Lalafell are simply a small, youthful race - and quite successful might I add, especially when it comes to trade and magic.

_{[She gestures to herself, pointing to her chest.]}

So, for those curious Monsters and Witches out there, not only am I a Lalafell lady but I'm almost a whole Yalm in height. Quite tall!

Anyroad, since I've to make a home for myself here and have only found part time work...I wanted to offer my services! Surly tax season is creeping up on everyone, yes? Before arriving here I managed the coffers and was the receptionist of an organization tasked with making sure the realm didn't fall victim to another Calamity. I also had other things on the go.

A 'Calamity' sounds like a good reason to have a varied skillset. What happened, if it's alright to ask?

The moon Dalamud fell and a Primal in the form of a giant dragon called Bahamut emerged from it, causing unimaginable death and destruction over the realm.

_{[Pretty much was a nuke but in dragon form. Not a good time, really.]}

I'm sorry - the moon fell?

[ So says it so casually... ]

It did, yes. It's the only way to describe it, really...

'Calamity' seem like an apt name, in that case...

Bahamut, though... that name was actually familiar to me even before I arrived here.

[seemstressed]

Really? What is Bahamut to you?

[fabrications]

It's a monster from Arabic mythology. I believe it's traditionally a sea serpent, though I usually see it depicted as some sort of dragon.

I see...it's interesting that we share such a commonality. I'm glad that the Bahamut you know is simply myth and nothing more.

So am I now, that I've heard your story.

It's interesting that Bahamut would be a point of commonality between the two - especially when its an old myth in my world and a recent disaster in yours.

Then again, magic is a myth in my world, as well. [ Mostly. ]

Perhaps there is a comment element or thread that ties all worlds together?

I find it strange that there are worlds where magic doesn't exist. It must be exciting to you then, to be in a place where it is not so.

It's hard to say. I've spoken to several people that have no idea what or where the planet Earth, and many of the one that do are from time periods completely removed from my own.

How are you adjusting then? It must be a shock to you.
