She sings! She dances! She can help you pay your taxes!

[When the feed connects there's nothing to be seen other than a standard sized, wooden chair in the middle of a meagerly furnished dorm room. Soon however a rather petite figure comes into view, one with a cute face and rather large, pointy ears. She can't be more than three feet tall by the looks of it and once she's clambered atop the chair she's left standing on it, only to thrust her arms dramatically in the air for a big wave, a high pitched voice following the action.]
Hullo! I'm Tataru Taru but just Tataru will do. Twenty one summers old and at your service!
[That's right, she's just fun sized. Her arms drop to her sides as she continues.]
Now I know I haven't been here for very long, but I realized rather quickly that not many here have heard of Lalafell. No I am not a Fae, nor am I anything but a fully grown lady - we Lalafell are simply a small, youthful race - and quite successful might I add, especially when it comes to trade and magic.
[She gestures to herself, pointing to her chest.]
So, for those curious Monsters and Witches out there, not only am I a Lalafell lady but I'm almost a whole Yalm in height. Quite tall!
[And she's proud of it too. Now that that's out of the way...it's time for The Hustle.]
Anyroad, since I've to make a home for myself here and have only found part time work...I wanted to offer my services! Surly tax season is creeping up on everyone, yes? Keeping track of finances and spending, either business or personal, is my specialty! I'm also a very skilled seamstress. If there's something you need made I can sew it! Cooking? Cleaning? Mining? Juggling? Entertainment in the form of song and dance? I can do it all!
If you've any questions don't be shy! Send me a message or come say hello when I'm working at Precogstitchin' or The Sly Seadog! Hope to hear from you all!
[With a smile and big wave she's hopping off the chair, only for the feed to cease a moment later.]

If she doesn't have a home... Oh no. The dark mage is smiling, but there might be a hint of panic to his features. Hard to say with the shit camera.]
Umm... Hey, Tataru? Are you really living on the streets? Because, y'know, I don't think any of the folks in charge of housing would mind if somebody like you took up some of the housing they offer. You don't have to live on the streets! I get that it's not too bad. Trust me, the rats are adorable, finding food's not too hard to do in a big city like this, and getting some shut-eye's easy when you pretend all of the noises are just nocturnal Monsters. But you can have a house!
video
[How sweet of him...she can't help but find herself smiling, touched that he's clearly worried about her. Was he weird? Yeah, but concern is a kind thing to have for others, especially people you've only just met a week or two ago.]
I'm afraid I'm a bit wary still of the housing they offer. The last thing I want is to be roped into a contract and indebted right from the start.
[So she's been taking her time to look into it, to make sure it's really no strings attached.]
How is your living situation though Henry? You aren't on the streets now, are you?

I can't say taxes were something I thought to worry about, so it's good to know someone here has experience in that area.

I could use the seamstress part. If you're actually decent with numbers, I also might be able to give your name to new clients I can't take. I offer freelance financial consultancy work to mainly the aristo set.
( natives, not mirrorbound, for one simple reason: they have more money. this is why she's had enough to cushion her during a period of not working. )

How much do you charge for simple repairs...?
[ He may have arrived here straight out of a warzone with only the clothes on his back. He found a sewing kit in the house, but his own sewing skills have proved... lacking.
(His seams look more like sutures. Help him). ]
un: taru
What sort of repairs did you have in mind? Holes to be patched? Tears? Buttons needing to be reattached? It depends on how quick I can do them, but if they truly are simple the cost wouldn't be much.
Alterations or custom apparel commissioned from scratch are far more costly.

WELL WELL WELL. AN ENTERTAINER, A SEAMSTRESS, AND AN ACCOUNTANT, WRAPPED UP INTO ONE COMPETENT, CHARMING LADY? YOU'RE REALLY COMING AFTER MY OWN HEART... AND, APPEALING TO MY SENSIBILITIES.
AS A FREQUENT AT PRECOGSTITCHIN'... I WOULD LOVE TO SEE YOUR WORK! CONSIDERING I'M ENTIRELY ON THE HUNT FOR TALENT. TALENT IN ENTERTAINMENT, YES... BUT ALSO IN FASHION! TELL ME, BEAUTIFUL. WHAT DID YOU DO PRIOR TO COMING HERE, WITH SUCH AN IMPRESSIVE RESUME?
un: taru
Anyway...]
Before arriving here I was essentially the accountant and receptionist for an organization tasked with keeping the realm safe from enduring ruin once more.
[No reason to get into Primals and all that right now.]
While spending time in Ishgard I enhanced my sewing abilities and also worked at the tavern in town as an entertainer.

[Which isn't bad- he has things he wants to look into himself, but he does wonder how much she will be taking on.
hah…]If you need an endorsement, I can certainly give that- though I don't believe I knew you'd taken to the stage so well. Perhaps I'll see you there?
[…he does, technically, have an outfit that could use alterations, besides.]
no subject
[Can Tataru ever not keep herself busy? Does anyone even want to see her when she's not...]
I suppose you never did see me perform at The Forgotten Knight. If I do make my way to a stage here you're to be front row!
[That being said...]
And how have you been keeping busy Thancred?

[Says Irhya, wearing a devil-may-care grin that indicates she welcomes the potential trouble with open arms.]
Multi-talented Lalafellin secretary to the rescue, aye? I do hope it's not a trial by combat this time.
video
[Ah, another Miqo'te woman. Could this be the fabled fourth Warrior she hadn't met yet? Or was it simply a person from Eorzea like the Ala Mhigan woman she'd met? Tataru's sure she'll figure it out soon enough.]
I don't think even Ishgard's most prude individuals would force a tax evader to participate in trial by combat.
