_{[When the feed connects there's nothing to be seen other than a standard sized, wooden chair in the middle of a meagerly furnished dorm room. Soon however a rather petite figure comes into view, one with a cute face and rather large, pointy ears. She can't be more than three feet tall by the looks of it and once she's clambered atop the chair she's left standing on it, only to thrust her arms dramatically in the air for a big wave, a high pitched voice following the action.]}

Hullo! I'm Tataru Taru but just Tataru will do. Twenty one summers old and at your service!

_{[That's right, she's just fun sized. Her arms drop to her sides as she continues.]}

Now I know I haven't been here for very long, but I realized rather quickly that not many here have heard of Lalafell. No I am not a Fae, nor am I anything but a fully grown lady - we Lalafell are simply a small, youthful race - and quite successful might I add, especially when it comes to trade and magic.

_{[She gestures to herself, pointing to her chest.]}

So, for those curious Monsters and Witches out there, not only am I a Lalafell lady but I'm almost a whole Yalm in height. Quite tall!

Anyroad, since I've to make a home for myself here and have only found part time work...I wanted to offer my services! Surly tax season is creeping up on everyone, yes? Fighting is not as glamorous as one thinks. But I'm sure you provide plenty of support for those who do. Quite possibly having those in your corner when needed.

Oh I've seen enough fighting to know it's anything but glamorous. The robes and armor may be but I know first hand how hard it is to remove bloodstains. Even so, I want to be stronger than I am...so I'm going to study very hard here to be. I've already lined up tutors.

Tutors already? Rather impressive to gain some already. I do hope they will treat you well.

I think they will. I seem to have a way with odd men.

Odd men?

One is a powerful black mage who's rather fond of necromancy and bad puns. A bit weird since when we first met he asked me what our children would look like.

But he's got a good heart in him I'm sure and is happy to give me lessons.

Another is an older man who seems quite tired but we had quite an interesting conversation. He wasn't used to magic before coming to this world but is very dedicated in his studies...with other things he seems a bit lazy. We got along well and he agreed to let me study with him.

And lastly I intend to have Urianger teach me what he can. I think his oddities are known well enough if you're familiar with him.

Yes. He's an elezen who has somehow managed to find a sense of fashion since arriving here. Absolutely brilliant when it comes to magic and research into various complicated, old, forgotten topics. Absolutely rubbish at being social outside his small group, likes to speak as if he's a character in an old play.

My apologies for not speaking on it before, nor was it my intent to hide it from you. I simply could not blurt it out upon the first day, not when there was so much happening that I feared admitting it would cause more harm and worry than acceptance.

_{[Here we go again. Tataru's still not sure how to approach the whole issue in all honesty. The more she thinks about it (when she does) the more it makes her head hurt. Existentialism isn't exactly a favourite topic of hers and the existence of four Warriors of Light that supposedly knows her calls her own existence very much into question.

It's not fun.

Still, regardless of the how or why of it all, these individuals do care about her on some level. It's only fair that she welcome each of them with an open mind and heart. She may not know them but that doesn't mean she can't get to know them.]}

Well...I appreciate your thoughtfulness, Mira. I won't deny that it's been a rather strange thing to be told or think about, but I see no reason why we cannot make new memories together here in this world.

I usually do not forget an essential need but sometimes I get too focused into work that it happens on occasion.
