She sings! She dances! She can help you pay your taxes!
Name: un: Taru
Date: Feb 13th
Format: Video
[When the feed connects there's nothing to be seen other than a standard sized, wooden chair in the middle of a meagerly furnished dorm room. Soon however a rather petite figure comes into view, one with a cute face and rather large, pointy ears. She can't be more than three feet tall by the looks of it and once she's clambered atop the chair she's left standing on it, only to thrust her arms dramatically in the air for a big wave, a high pitched voice following the action.]
Hullo! I'm Tataru Taru but just Tataru will do. Twenty one summers old and at your service!
[That's right, she's just fun sized. Her arms drop to her sides as she continues.]
Now I know I haven't been here for very long, but I realized rather quickly that not many here have heard of Lalafell. No I am not a Fae, nor am I anything but a fully grown lady - we Lalafell are simply a small, youthful race - and quite successful might I add, especially when it comes to trade and magic.
[She gestures to herself, pointing to her chest.]
So, for those curious Monsters and Witches out there, not only am I a Lalafell lady but I'm almost a whole Yalm in height. Quite tall!
[And she's proud of it too. Now that that's out of the way...it's time for The Hustle.]
Anyroad, since I've to make a home for myself here and have only found part time work...I wanted to offer my services! Surly tax season is creeping up on everyone, yes? Keeping track of finances and spending, either business or personal, is my specialty! I'm also a very skilled seamstress. If there's something you need made I can sew it! Cooking? Cleaning? Mining? Juggling? Entertainment in the form of song and dance? I can do it all!
If you've any questions don't be shy! Send me a message or come say hello when I'm working at Precogstitchin' or The Sly Seadog! Hope to hear from you all!
[With a smile and big wave she's hopping off the chair, only for the feed to cease a moment later.]

[Because let's face it: Tataru is the type of person one meets and would protect because she's just so damn good that one would want to.]

Oh I've seen enough fighting to know it's anything but glamorous. The robes and armor may be but I know first hand how hard it is to remove bloodstains. Even so, I want to be stronger than I am...so I'm going to study very hard here to be. I've already lined up tutors.

[They better.]

[Haha...ha. Oh Henry.]
But he's got a good heart in him I'm sure and is happy to give me lessons.
[In exchange for going on dates. She'll just leave that part out since she's the one who suggested such a deal in the first place.]
Another is an older man who seems quite tired but we had quite an interesting conversation. He wasn't used to magic before coming to this world but is very dedicated in his studies...with other things he seems a bit lazy. We got along well and he agreed to let me study with him.
[She'll just leave out the part that he's uh, Garlean. Yeah.]
And lastly I intend to have Urianger teach me what he can. I think his oddities are known well enough if you're familiar with him.

[So a pun mage, a tired grandpa (oh if Tataru ever learns of his true nature) and wait-]
You said 'Urianger', yes?
no subject
Very good friend of mine.
no subject
Yes. I know him...somewhat.

[Where they met. Running into is...difficult.]

[See where this is leading?]

You're one of the four then, aren't you?
[Warriors of Light that is.]

[Rose, Irhya, K'rihnn and her. She knows what the lalafell means.]
My apologies for not speaking on it before, nor was it my intent to hide it from you. I simply could not blurt it out upon the first day, not when there was so much happening that I feared admitting it would cause more harm and worry than acceptance.
no subject
It's not fun.
Still, regardless of the how or why of it all, these individuals do care about her on some level. It's only fair that she welcome each of them with an open mind and heart. She may not know them but that doesn't mean she can't get to know them.]
Well...I appreciate your thoughtfulness, Mira. I won't deny that it's been a rather strange thing to be told or think about, but I see no reason why we cannot make new memories together here in this world.
[Aka she's not here to reject you.]
Warrior or not, my wish is to know you simply as you.
no subject
The real her.
Mira likes it.]
I would like that. Mayhap in the near future, we can visit a nice place and have some tea and chat. Something I fear neither of us do very often, hmm?
no subject
Mm, yes. I would like that very much so. Some tea with scones and clotted cream. A bit of jam...
[She's kind of hungry don't @ her okay.]
no subject
Now I'm getting hungry too.

[But as an afterthought just to not worry the poor lalafell because she knows she will.]
I usually do not forget an essential need but sometimes I get too focused into work that it happens on occasion.
