Soon however a rather petite figure comes into view, one with a cute face and rather large, pointy ears. She can't be more than three feet tall by the looks of it and once she's clambered atop the chair she's left standing on it, only to thrust her arms dramatically in the air for a big wave, a high pitched voice following the action.]}

Hullo! I'm Tataru Taru but just Tataru will do. Twenty one summers old and at your service!

_{[That's right, she's just fun sized. Her arms drop to her sides as she continues.]}

Now I know I haven't been here for very long, but I realized rather quickly that not many here have heard of Lalafell. No I am not a Fae, nor am I anything but a fully grown lady - we Lalafell are simply a small, youthful race - and quite successful might I add, especially when it comes to trade and magic.

_{[She gestures to herself, pointing to her chest.]}

So, for those curious Monsters and Witches out there, not only am I a Lalafell lady but I'm almost a whole Yalm in height. Quite tall!

Anyroad, since I've to make a home for myself here and have only found part time work...I wanted to offer my services! Surly tax season is creeping up on everyone, yes? Keeping track of finances and spending, either business or personal, is my specialty! I'm also a very skilled seamstress. If there's something you need made I can sew it! Cooking? Cleaning? Mining? Why wouldn't we? Taxes and death are the two things in life that one can never escape, no matter where you are. Even if a tax isn't outright paid for it can be hidden within other costs.

Still, it's a matter I'm looking into.

Oh! Well, I know all sorts of dances. Most are native to Ul'dah, but I've picked up a few from travelling performers as well. As for songs I usually tend to sing folk songs and ballads.

Oh, I've never heard of music from Ul'dah before. [Or Ul'dah at all, but music is what matters] So are you self-taught or did you learn from someone?

I would be glad to sing songs for you, if you ever want to hear! Unfortunately I never learned any instruments. I've had teachers here and there, especially in the beginning, but mostly I've been self-taught.

Well I got records, at least... [He sighs in relief. His sister taught him how to keep those. It's just....doing actual math with those records is where it gets scary.]

I think I got a payment in mind then. Would you like to learn an instrument? I'm a music teacher.

Though of course, I'd love to hear you sing sometime either way.

Oh! What instruments do you teach?

Violin, piano, guitar, singing and recorder...though that last one's mostly for kids.

What is a guitar? I've never heard of a recorder either.

It's a string instrument that you pluck the strings. Like a lute or a sitar?

A recorder is...it's like a simple flute. It's great for kids who're just learning about music.

Oh! So it's similar to a lute then?

Do you think someone my size could play an instrument like that?

Yeah! It's the lute's niece, in a way.

Sure, we'd just need to use a child sized one. I teach a lot of children, so I know where to get my hands on one.
