Name: Kurumi Ebisuzawa

Format: Text
Hey. Good Morning. Or is it evening already?
Whatever. I have a problem. My Bonded vanished. We arrived together last month, she was someone from home, so I thought we got this whole Bond thing sorted immediately. But, well... I think she's gone back home. To anyone who knows Yuuri Wakasa, she's no longer here.
[Kurumi had cried a lot about it, to the point tears aren't coming out anymore.]
I heard things that we could go crazy under the full moon and it'll get worse without a Bond. Being a vampire sucks on its own already and I'd rather not lose control of myself, thanks, so I figure I should reach out.
This is a call for friendship. Let's be friends! Maybe we'll eventually get to bond, too?
[Also horribly, horribly lonely, but she's not going to write that down. The implication is already there in the post.]

[In Leslie's mind, using a nickname = you are friends.]
I am sorry. It must be very lonely to have a friend suddenly disappear like that. I did not know her for very long, but she seemed to be a wonderful person.
If you ever end up having trouble with things about the full moon and vampires, I know someone who went through the same process. I could ask her if she has advice for you.
no subject
Yeah, she's a wonderful person. Someone I can rely on. She's like a big sister to me.
[As for the full moon and vampires-]
That'd be a great help, Leslie. Gotta prepare as much as I can.
no subject
I can see how she would be like a proper big sister to you, with the impression she gave me.
[Leslie's experience with big sisters is not the best, but she's been learning a little bit about what it might be like in a better family over her time in Aefenglom.]
I will have to ask her this evening when she wakes up. Did you already hear about how vampires end up needing to sleep during the day and wake up at night? I think the things I know about them are more common knowledge.
no subject
Oh. This is Kurumi btw.
Thanks. And yeah, I heard about that. Vampires are nocturnal, aren't they? Lately, I've been sleeping during the day and waking up in the evening. Even when I managed to stay up during the day, going out when the sun's out is a pain.
Guess you know what kind of stuff vampires gotta drink, too?... Could you ask your vampire friend how they deal with that?
no subject
You're on thin ice there, Kurumi, with the "small young girl" part. That's perilously close to "child."]Oh! Since you were carrying around that shovel. [So that's why you're shovelmaiden.] Now that I think about it, your clothes did look a lot like Rii-san's clothes.
The vampire I know has to dress in a lot of extra layers when she has gone out during the day. It sounds like it is no fun to have to put up with that part. [Like during the Rathmore trial THAT'S CHEERFUL let's just not say when it was.]
I guess I should say the other vampire I know, now.
I do know the answer to that question, though! There are places that sell blood. I do not know if they sell anything other than animal blood, but she said that she likes pig's blood very much. And sometimes, people have volunteered to give her blood. She says she mixes the blood in with her drinks sometimes.
no subject
You're a smol child Leslie! Face the fact!]Yeah, I'm that maiden carrying around a shovel. We attend the same highschool- Megurigaoka High.
Not that the name means anything here.
But geez, extra layers of clothes... That's gotta be a pain in a butt, dressing like it's winter every day. But I don't really like staying in my room until the sun goes down either, so I might just deal with it until there's a better solution.
There are places that sell blood? That helps a lot! I didn't know vampires could drink animal blood, too, but that saves me the trouble of looking for volunteers. I don't want to hurt anyone just to survive.
no subject
nooooooo she's going to grow so much you'll be surprised!!]I have not heard of a highschool before. The highest level of schooling in the empire is the academy, so I expect it is something like that.
I think I worded that wrong. It is not like winter so much as ensuring that no part of your skin is exposed to the sun. Though the clothes likely need to be thick enough to block the sunlight. You will need a very large hat to make sure that none of your head is in the sunlight.
It sounds like a lot of people are willing to give a little blood as well, from time to time, so she drinks both animal and [she hates using the word but she should be specific:] monster blood. I have heard there is a bar for vampires, though I did not ask for details.
[As Kurumi herself had said, a bar is a place for adults to hang out.]
no subject
Oooh, I got it now. That's a little less ridiculous than what I imagined I had to wear in my head. Still, I gotta shop for clothes later. It's not like I brought my cute clothes here with me.
[Not that she had any choice being here in the first place.]
Right, I think I'll just stick with animals. I'll keep a look out for vampire bars when I get around to exploring the town again. Thanks again, Leslie-chan. You're a big help. ٩(◕‿◕。)۶
[She's using Kaomoji! Her mood is slightly improved.]
no subject
I see. Was it fun? The school.
The shops here are very good. Lady Edelgard already had some clothes prepared for me when I arrived here, as she offered to help me when she met me in that dream and she recognized that it was the same form of dream that happened when she arrived in Aefenglom, and I have no complaints with either those or the ones that I have acquired later. It is not that different from what I used to wear in my own world, with one or two exceptions.
You are very welcome, Kurumi! I am glad that I was able to be helpful. ('v')
I will return shortly. I hear the sound of movement upstairs. I believe that my friend has woken up, so I will ask her what advice she might have.
[
the player didn't originally notice this was an evening post oops soThe response to anything that Kurumi might say in response to that is going to be delayed for a while, but she'll be back with vampire-senpai advice!]no subject
lol pat the player's head]Super fun!
[It's... not exactly a lie. Yuki was there to make things fun and give some sense of normalcy.
She would have more things to add about her school and the clothes here, from what she have observed outside, but she shouldn't hold Leslie off from asking her friend for some important vampire advice.]
Alright, I'll wait!
no subject
All right. I asked her.
Aside from the things I mentioned before about buying blood from the market, she says that the most important thing is to get used to drinking blood and having it on hand.
If you have some blood you bought with you, it curbs the urge to get it elsewhere.
[This is an edited verison of "curbs the urge to hunt." Leslie thought that it might be better not to term it like that.]
You should prepare for things in that way, like with keeping things on hand that you will need.
But you should not fight the changes directly.
If you accept the changes and work with them, they will not control you.
If you try to ignore them, it will get more difficult to ignore.
That is what she said.
Approximately.
no subject
Several times.
'Get used to drinking blood'. 'Don't fight the changes'. 'Accept them'. Ironic, how she almost changed into a monster back home, fought the change, and came out alright, but it wasn't even long after that horrific experience she's now turning into something else and advice to not fight the change. At the very least, she might be able to stay sane and be herself if she follows this advice. And get herself Bonded.
With Yuuri gone, she doesn't even have the energy to even express her anger somewhere or punch the wall, no all she feels like doing is sigh and type.]
Okay! Thanks again Leslie!
Things gonna get rough, just accept the changes is... I don't know. Difficult? But I'll get through somehow.
I'll be mentally prepared.
no subject
It is better to know. I am sure it is a difficult thing to do, but it will be okay in the end. I promise! My friend has been fine now that her changes have completed.
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know. I am happy to help.
So you do not need to keep it to yourself.
no subject
Yeah. I like to believe things will be okay in the end.
If you're not busy, we could hang out maybe? Just have fun together? You don't have to if you have things to do, tho.
no subject
I do not know very much about having fun. But if you are sure you would like to spend time with me, I would like that.
