Hi. I'm Elliot Craig. It's nice to meet you all, even if the circumstances aren't, well, great?

Anyway, I was wondering a couple things and this seemed like the place to ask.

1. Does anyone know where I can get my hands on a violin? If there's a store or a place I could barter for one, that'd be really great. I tried conjuring one, but all I got were recorders. Guess I need more practice.

2. On a related note, is there anywhere I can donate a bunch of recorders?

3. Is there anyone that recognizes the name "Erebonia"? Or "Zemuria"? If you don't, that's okay. I'm just wondering if there's anyone else from my world.

4. And finally, does anyone know how you go about finding someone to make a Bond with? For some reason the townspeople I ask keep acting like it's this really personal thing, but I don't really know anyone here and I definitely don't wanna explode. So what do I do?

Thanks.

This may seem like a wild idea, but have you tried using the recorders as material for building your own violin?

It would likely only construct the body, of course, but it would be a good way to recycle them!

Well, it was just a suggestion, really. I tend to look for magic-based solutions most of the time. You have to admit, it'd be cheaper.

Have you been playing long?

The violin, that is.

Do you have any favorite pieces or composers?

I'm not a musician by any means, but I've always liked Vivaldi's works, myself. Though I'm told actual players tend to hate him, ha ha!

Oh.

Right.

Different worlds. I'm still getting used to that whole concept.

As for Vivaldi, the conventional wisdom goes that while he wrote amazing string pieces, he wrote them all on piano without considering the difficulty of transposing the pieces to a string section.

I'm afraid all I had on me when I arrived was my wand and my teacher's uniform. I kind of wish I had some of my record collection from back home.

Yes! To be more specific, I was a professor of astrology at Luna Nova Academy for Witches.

Well it

has its familiarities, I suppose, but I can't say I'm used to this whole 'cwyld' thing.

Unfortunately, we have to. The odds of the cwyld being entirely unrelated to our presence in this world is pretty slim.

It's barely a theory at the moment, I just don't believe there's zero connection, either.

At the very least, I think it's worth exploring.

And I've never been good about ignoring the struggles of others, even if they ultimately don't impact me. So even if it turns out to not be connected at all, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I'd done nothing.

And maybe find you a violin along the way.
